Given those odds, I'd be nervous around cops with guns too.
As a population cops are more likely to offend than the general public and far more likely to offend than a regular person with a carry permit.
By the numbers they're dangerous and you cant trust them.

Then it becomes their problem...not Denny's, not the cops. The manager should have told the complainant that the guys with guns were cops, and offered to seat him/her somewhere else.

Usually they eat meals wherever they get deep discounts for being a cop.... or better yet, free.
