Publishing them like they did does however demonstrate a very strong bias toward gun owners. An over the top bias reflective of a total lack of understanding.

They were "obtained to be published" under the FOI Act, and the reason they were granted the right to publish them, was because of Newtown's tragedy. The records were never public without special request, but now they are. No thanks to braindead, money hungry, media.

Today, the gun permit map was pulled. Not sure what made them take it down, but at least they did the right thing finally.
