My favorite "avnerd" story was from Pease. I got home and told my mother I had watched an FB-111 crash. She told me to stop lying, I'd get in trouble for it. A few hours later my father called to say he was going to be late, so she asked him if they had lost an airplane. He said "Yeah, how did you know?" I got an apology for that one.
