Tell that to Hugo Chavez. When his first coup failed it was protest that got him united with his people, which eventually led to him taking power and making his country anti-imperialist.

I would say for someone who "went against the grain" he was wildly successful.

By no means am I saying he is a great leader, or his version of government is better than another, or anything along those lines. It's not an issue to debate as it would go off topic.

Simply pointing out that his form of protest while he was incarcerated and after, was eventually successful.

This place is as divisive as they come.
And that can be a perfect environment if you're seeking the truth on matters.

Some say nothing is happening, some say EVERYTHING is happening. The beauty of ATS.
To me, that means we are somewhere in the middle. It's happening, just at a slower pace then imagined.

The best we can do is prepare ourselves for that time when we can make a difference for others.

Yes Israel would HUGELY benefit from revolution in US, they would no longer
have a blank check, and would have to give Palestinians their own State.

It wouldn't happen all at once, but Islamists would lose lot of power to
rally against Israel once Palestinians had a real country to call their own.

I still think you are wrong, because once I leave ATS and go outside,

I see people who are not informed and overall clueless.
