This stuff about the Dogon and advanced knowledge of star systems has been debunked, it was found that it was largely invented to sell books, people who later went to live with the dogon came back with a completely different interpretation after interviewing the tribal elders....its been killed but people wont let it die because they want to believe in it!

Just saying "it's been debunked" without telling us who, or how(you provide no source info) doesn't cut it 'round here. Specifics please?

The Canannites were named after Sirius/Dog Star (Canine -dog).

oh wow, you just made that up off the top of year head right now, didnt you?

The "canine" word comes from latin, as spoken by the Romans, but wikipedia gives an etymology for "Canaan" as being THOUSANDS of years before them.

The Latins adopted Canis from the Greeks,,,

The Canaanites were before The Greeks.

There was Egyptian drawings, Phoenicians created the alphabet, Hebrews/Canaanites changed it again, the Greek, then Roman (Latin/English Alphabet).

That is a good question. I have seen quite a few writings that are interpreted to talk about Sirius. Maybe They aren't even talking about Sirius though, maybe translators just assumed they do. It could be one of the oldest hijackings there is. People see what they know or want to see all the time.
