but some guy wrote a book and stuff and I saw an innerweb link that said it was flat and I'm a contrarian argumenatative, so all I can say is can you PROVE it is round ?

The fact that we need TEN reasons to prove this scares the Hell out of me.

Satellites in orbit pretty much settle it on ONE reason.

Just arguing semantics. "Round" basically means circular; it doesn't necessarily imply "spherical." That's all....

I'll play along. The earth is cube shaped, but the spin is so fast...it looks spherical. The only way we're truly gonna know, the shape of the earth...is if it stops spinning.
