Digital Freeview Signals Over Christmas And The New Year

Has anyone in the UK noticed their freeview signal occasionally jarring? I have noticed this quite a few times over Christmas and now into 2013. I dont buy the explanation that it is just a transmitter problem. I like to think of a more exotic reason such as attempts to hijack the airwaves like the famous Vrillion Incident in 1977 when an ailen from the Ashtar Command told humanity to grow up.

I have often wondered if it were possible if Ailens or anyone else could hack into the digital channels and carry this out today?

I certainly HOPE it's not aliens. If that's the best they can do against our simple, clumsy technology, I haven't much hope that they're advanced enough to be of any help--or for that matter much of a threat....

My freeview signal has always been pants!

You should just un tune it and stop polluting your mind with the garbage shown on it

dont know about freeview but i got home after christmas to find all my sky recordings i made had failed
