The world that as an American, you rely on for nearly ALL your resources? besides the point.

The Constitution is the supreme law. It's the government. It doesn't make any difference how old it is.

So Islam should change their primitive ways but yours are above any scrutiny?

The truth does not change no matter how many years go by.

Yes it does, or the world would still be flat, and protestors would be burned at the stake.

If you're an American you either believe in freedom or you're a traitor. If you wish to silence people, you are an enemy of freedom.

Ok... Bush!

Freedom is letting others be free to believe, say and live how they want so long as they don't harm others or the property of another. You can't let people have the freedom of speech so long as it doesn't bother you.

Fine! stay away from financial districts then. Many people from all over the world rely on them and protesters look to disrupt them.

If you try to stop others from being free, you stop yourself and everyone else. The way you talk is really stupid.

What if i want to be free to send my children to a school that isn't surrounded by millions of people that could be suffering from mental health, yet still have multiple avenues of acquiring dangerous assault rifles and pistols.

Arm everyone and give them prozac? Is that your solution?

Oh and saying that what i have to say is really stupid, just shows how much you believe in your constitutional rights.

Anything in this thread is moot anyhow since the OP has failed to show how the FBI were planning to assassinate OWS protestors. All that is written is that they were worried that a lone gunman may hide them self in the mass crowd and become a security threat to not only the general public but OWS protestors.

The OP tells me to read for myself and i did, do that is how i see it. extra DIV

Of course they are. I would say quite a few of them joined around 2012, before the elections to help further the cause of the leftwing government.

They probably leave a few hanging on the forums even after the elections, and before them, but it is only logical that they would increase their numbers around election year.

When I read something like this, it doesn't seem so hard to believe that government trolls could be lurking around ATS as well.

So? What are you going to do about it?

Maybe use your amended rights at take up arms.

Nope. Too scared.

Instead of using arms to protect your rights you shoot them off in the air or threaten to shoot Mexicans with them. And then you are surprised when they end up in the hands of evil who use them to rob people and slaughter dozens at a time indiscriminately.

I don't agree with much of what OWS stood for. I argued much here on ATS against their message.

But I would fight and have fought to make sure that they can speak.

This is disgusting.

Yeah, this does not clearly say the government was planning assassinations. Without knowing what the redacted part says, it could be anyone. Frankly, the way it reads to me, it more seems like the FBI was made aware of possibly some anti-OWS group or maybe hitmen working for Wall Street interests that were prepping to carry out assassinations. Several paragraphs immediately after are fully redacted, which could be detailing how this intel was - or was not - handled.

Your point is not unfair, and I will admit it was the first thing I thought as well.

But if you want to go that route, do take a moment to ask yourself a couple important questions:

1- How often does ANYONE get murdered by a sniper that is not acting on behalf of a government agency?

2- How many people out there own, or could manufacture a proper suppressor for a sniper rifle? (Other than the government)

You keep on showing nothing but ignorance through and through...

First of all, the mayority of the CRIMINALS get their weapons in the BLACK MARKET...

Gangs have FULLY AUTOMATED WEAPONS, which MOST Americans do not have and are for the most part illegal...

You go ahead and go to every weapon store and ask to see a FULLY automated rifle... And don't use the definition "assault rifle"... Assault rifles shoot one bullet for every trigger pull just like pistols/hanguns...

Leave it to your leftwing government under Obama to GIVE American assault weapons to Mexican drug cartels so that they can then claim to brainwashed Americans like yourself that "it is because of the second amendment right that CRIMINALS like the Mexican drug cartels have American weapons...

Inform yourself at least some before you make such ignorant comments please...

Military and special police should be the only ones with access to anything that isn't used for hunting. And before you start demonizing these institutes maybe you shouldn't forget that they or Americans sons and daughters, not some NAZI war mar machine that only seeks to harm its own people.

Looking at Obama's Campaign Donors, which consist mostly of Big Wall Street Banks, who also donated to "The other party" is it more likely Obama would side against his donors, or that he would appear to play the part of a "Democrat" to divide and conquer?

You are referring to the IRS, and the Feds, which were implemented by PROGRESSIVE DEMOCRATS in 1913 under a PROGRESSIVE DEMOCRAT PRESIDENT, Woodrow Wilson...

The IRS and all it's PROGRESSIVE TAXES were implemented by the same PROGRESSIVE DEMOCRAT and a DEMOCRAT CONGRESS...

Thomas Woodrow Wilson (December 28, 1856 – February 3, 1924) was the 28th President of the United States, from 1913 to 1921. A leader of the Progressive Movement, he served as President of Princeton University from 1902 to 1910, and then as the Governor of New Jersey from 1911 to 1913. Running against Republican incumbent William Howard Taft, Socialist Party of America candidate Eugene V. Debs, and former President Progressive ("Bull Moose") Party candidate Theodore Roosevelt, Wilson was elected President as a Democrat in 1912.

In his first term as President Wilson persuaded a Democratic Congress to pass major progressive reforms. Historian John M. Cooper argues that, in his first term, Wilson successfully pushed a legislative agenda that few presidents have equaled, and remained unmatched up until the New Deal.[1] This agenda included the Federal Reserve Act, Federal Trade Commission Act, the Clayton Antitrust Act, the Federal Farm Loan Act and an income tax. Child labor was curtailed by the Keating–Owen Act of 1916, but the U.S. Supreme Court declared it unconstitutional in 1918.
...

en.wikipedia.org...

I just put in bold the parts pertaining to this discussion...

It was PROGRESSIVE DEMOCRATS who implemented the LARGEST CORPORATION in the world known as the Federal Reserve, and through it the LEFTWINGERS gave power to the RICH BANKER ELITES over the economy of the U.S. which allowed for the total corruption of the U.S. political process... Not to mention that they allowed for the banning of the gold and silver standard which put the U.S. dollar, a bank note created by the Feds/Federal Reserve and which put the entire world under the mercy of the WORLD RICH BANKER ELITES AND ROYAL/RICH FAMILIES...

If I were you I would seriously stop writing... You just keep puting your shoes in your mouth time and again, and digging yourself deeper and deeper in your obvious IGNORANCE on these topics...

Some excerpts not provided in the article posted:

From Anchorage Office;

* _______ mentioned there was discussion on the internet regarding the Occupy Wallstreet Movement about when it was okay to shoot a police officer.

* Cyber threats to banks

* OWS are working on a collaborated effort to shut down ports on the west coast on Dec 12, 2011.

* On Nov 11, OWS protesters used metal chains and human chains to prevent the longshoremen from truckers from entering and exiting the port.

Those a just a few. As for the assassination excerpt, I am pretty sure you are reading it wrong.

"This ____ identified the exploitation of the Occupy Movement by __________ interested in developing a long term plan to kill Occupy Leaders via sniper fire"

It doesn't tell who this person is and for all we know the FBI might have been looking into this to protect the protesters, not assassinate them.

Actually I do not see anything bad in any of these documents.

I'm pretty damn disturbed about this myself. My thoughts on OWS ranged from supportive to ambivalent. I think that both they and some of the folks from the original Tea Parties correctly identified some of the Banksters that are bleeding this country dry.

Everyone should read the OP! It is CHILLING. All of the facts and allegations put forth in this are incredibly egregious, where the hell is the MSM aside from the Guardian right now?

I think we err when we focus on the most hyperbolic of the issues raised in the OP. The sniper story should not be forgotten, but we shouldn't focus our rage over this on something that if read non-redacted might be nothing. There are a few other issues that really piss me of in the OP and we need to make sure they aren't lost in the more salacious meme of "govt snipers to kill OWS protesters".

These documents show that the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security are treating protests against the corporate and banking structure of America as potential criminal and terrorist activity. These documents also show these federal agencies functioning as a de facto intelligence arm of Wall Street and Corporate America

Not news to us here at ATS.

As early as August 19, 2011, the FBI in New York was meeting with the New York Stock Exchange to discuss the Occupy Wall Street protests that wouldn’t start for another month.

They were monitoring OWS before almost anyone had heard of it. That's probably more interesting than disturbing.

Who before this has ever heard of DSAC, the Domestic Security Alliance Council?

Documents released show coordination between the FBI, Department of Homeland Security and corporate America. They include a report by the Domestic Security Alliance Council (DSAC), described by the federal government as “a strategic partnership between the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security and the private sector,”........The DSAC report shows the nature of secret collaboration between American intelligence agencies and their corporate clients - the document contains a “handling notice” that the information is “meant for use primarily within the corporate security community.

What the hell folks? That's a new one, there is also a reference to Fusion Centers in the text as well. Why the hell isn't this the top story on ATS right now much less the MSM? It's got everything even one of the regional Federal Reserve Banks.

The Federal Reserve in Richmond appears to have had personnel surveilling OWS planning. They were in contact with the FBI in Richmond to “pass on information regarding the movement known as occupy Wall Street.” There were repeated communications “to pass on updates of the events and decisions made during the small rallies and the following information received from the Capital Police Intelligence Unit through JTTF (Joint Terrorism Task Force).”

Same as OP

I'm also pretty disturbed that it was a nationwide near simultaneous crackdown orchestrated by elements of the Federal government. It seemed pretty evident at the time but many of us here when the crackdown happened said it came from the top rather than in the individual cities and states.

Great find OP starred and flagged. I'm glad to see many who are on the extreme polar opposite of OWS seeing the travesty of these events as well. I myself am somewhere between OWS and Tea Party with the exception that I agree with elements in both that the Banksters got away with another one in the economic collapse. I'm also glad that we're having this discussion right now as well. It begs the question" If this administration will go so all out against a movement that they cannot co-opt and control not that far ideologically different than many of its base, how will they confront organized dissent by groups even further away ideologically ?" Something to think about with the challenges both to Freedom and economically in the next few years.

First of all, you would have to show what these people actually said/wrote which goes against the T&C since you can't link directly to other blogs.

Second of all, there are many who claim they are Republicans, and conservatives and are neither. Those people are called RINOs, many of them are/were neo-cons, and in case you didn't know the true definition of neo-con is a person who was a democrat, most of their lives, and changed parties for whatever reason they had in mind. So many so called "Republicans" these days have leftwinger ideas.

Third of all, and AGAIN, what do you think would happen with the political process in the U.S. when it has been corrupted by the Feds STARTING in 1913?...

Republicans, and others WARNED the American people back in those days when the Feds were implemented, and even earlier that these people were/are not part of the U.S. government, but were/are INTERNATIONAL banksters...

The death of Lincoln was a disaster for Christendom. There was no man in the United States great enough to wear his boots and the bankers went anew to grab the riches. I fear that foreign bankers with their craftiness and tortuous tricks will entirely control the exuberant riches of America and use it to systematically corrupt civilization.” Otto von Bismark ((1815-1898), German Chancellor, after the Lincoln assassination)

I am afraid the ordinary citizen will not like to be told that the banks can and do create money. And they who control the credit of the nation direct the policy of Governments and hold in the hollow of their hand the destiny of the people.Reginald McKenna, (as Chairman of the Midland Bank, addressing stockholders in 1924.)

www.searchquotes.com...

Those are just a few, there are many, MANY more...

The banker elites did not begin to take control in 1913, but even in 1791 the Rothschilds began getting control of the economy through Alenxander Hamilton, an agent of the Rothschild in Washington. they established the first central bank in the U.S., which also happens to be one of the planks in communism to set up a central bank; this bank was called "First Bank of the United States". It was chartered for a term of 20 years.

The First Bank of the United States was a central bank, chartered for a term of twenty years, by the United States Congress on February 25, 1791. Establishment of the Bank was included in a three-part expansion of federal fiscal and monetary power (along with a federal mint and excise taxes) championed by Alexander Hamilton, first Secretary of the Treasury. Hamilton believed a central bank was necessary to stabilize and improve the nation's credit, and to improve handling of the financial business of the United States government under the newly enacted Constitution.

Officially proposed to the first session of the First Congress in 1790, Hamilton's Bank faced widespread resistance from opponents of increased federal power. Secretary of State Thomas Jefferson and James Madison led the opposition, which claimed that the bank was unconstitutional, and that it benefited merchants and investors at the expense of the majority of the population.

The happiest population

We are in 1750. The United States of America does not yet exist; it is the 13 Colonies of the American continent, forming “New England”, a possession of the motherland, England. Benjamin Franklin wrote about the population of that time: “Impossible to find a happier and more prosperous population on all the surface of the globe.” Going over to England to represent the interests of the Colonies, Franklin was asked how he accounted for the prosperous conditions prevailing in the Colonies, while poverty was rife in the motherland:

That is simple,” Franklin replied. In the Colonies we issue our own money. It is called Colonial Scrip. We issue it in proper proportion to make the products pass easily from the producers to the consumers. In this manner, creating ourselves our own paper money, we control its purchasing power, and we have no interest to pay to no one.

The English bankers, being informed of that, had a law passed by the British Parliament prohibiting the Colonies from issuing their own money, and ordering them to use only the gold or silver debt-money that was provided in insufficient quantity by the English bankers. The circulating medium of exchange was thus reduced by half.

In one year,” Franklin stated, “the conditions were so reversed that the era of prosperity ended, and a depression set in, to such an extent that the streets of the Colonies were filled with unemployed.

Then the Revolutionary War was launched against England, and was followed by the Declaration of Independence in 1776. History textbooks erroneously teach that it was the tax on tea that triggered the American Revolution. But Franklin clearly stated:

The Colonies would gladly have borne the little tax on tea and other matters, had it not been the poverty caused by the bad influence of the English bankers on the Parliament: which has caused in the Colonies hatred of England, and the Revolutionary War.

The Founding Fathers of the United States, bearing all these facts in mind, and to protect themselves against the exploitation of the International Bankers, took good care to expressly declare, in the American Constitution, signed at Philadelphia, in 1787, Article 1, Section 8, paragraph 5:

Congress shall have the power to coin money and to regulate the value thereof.

The bank of the bankers

Alexander Hamilton

But the bankers did not give up. Their agent, Alexander Hamilton, was named Secretary of Treasury in George Washington's cabinet, and advocated the establishment of a federal bank to be owned by private interests, and the creation of debt-money with false arguments like: “A national debt, if it is not excessive, will be to us a national blessing... The wisdom of the Government will be shown in never trusting itself with the use of so seducing and dangerous an expedient as issuing its own money.” Hamilton also made them believe that only the debt-money issued by private banks would be accepted in dealing abroad.
...

www.michaeljournal.org...

Mind you, during those early times the colonies were dependant of England to supply enough gold and silver, but as the nation grew and prospered we began having the ability to get our own gold and silver in large enough quantities that it was possible for the REPUBLIC of the U.S. to have our own gold and silver standard.

Second of all, in the U.S. the cities and states with the most gun crimes are those in which firearms are either banned or heavily restricted such as Detroit, Illinois and New York city... First of all, the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are mentioned in the Declaration of Independence which clearly mentions these and other rights enumerated in the Constitution are NATURAL RIGHTS or God given, which means no person or government can infringe or ban these rights...

The right to property is mentioned in the Bill of Rights which is part of the Constitution of the United States.

Second of all, the 16th amendment doesn't say that, and IT DOESN'T GIVE CORPORATIONS ANY RIGHTS...

The 16th amendment allows Congress to levy a tax, but that tax is not the same as the one implemented since 1913 by the BRITISH and other European and world banksters...

The taxes that have been implemented in the United States since 1913 are PROGRESSIVE TAXES, in which pretty much EVERYTHING is taxed by the rich INTERNATIONAL bankster elites... This was not the tax the founding fathers had in mind.

The reason why the founding fathers and the colonies fought against England was because of similar PROGRESSIVE TAXES which the Bank of England and King George wanted the colonies to keep paying...

BTW, some of us, including myself, have shown you wrong in pretty much almost everything you have claimed in this thread...

Fine i will addmit im wrong although im not sure how i tried to force anything on anybody.... But your american so your right, plus your armed so i cant argue with you for fear of my safty. Armed Americans do not have a reputation for responsibility.

It still remains that there no evidence from the OP or anyone including you that shows the FBI planned to assassinate OWS leadership.

If they did though, they would have my blessing to target any American with. Pistol or assault rifle. They obviously have intent to harm another human and history shows they have no intent of fighting tyranny with them. It sad to see so many honest hard working peacefull Americans being held hostage by the gun lobby

I don't think that was the case. If it were why didn't the FBI failed to comment on the assassination accusations? If you read the full page it seems like they are talking about the FBI to me. And who snipers people "if necessary" if they are not the government?

Right wing extremists would shoot them regardless, not, "if necessary". That is police speech. "Gathering intelligence" is police speech.
