www.breitbart.com...

Boston posted an open letter to Senator Feinstein at CNN's ireport site on December 27 to let DiFi know that he, at least, would not submit to the government denuding him of his Second Amendment rights.

Boston informed Sen. Feinstein that he will not register his weapons nor does he believe the Senator or anyone else in government has the right to require him to do so. Boston also scoffed at someone proclaiming "the evil of an inanimate object" even as she bestows upon herself the ability to carry a gun in contravention to her own proclamations.

"I am not your subject," Boston insists. "I am the man who keeps you free. I am not your servant. I am the person whom you serve. I am not your peasant. I am the flesh and blood of America."

I will not be disarmed to suit the fear that has been established by the media and your misinformation campaign against the American public.

Mr. Boston's message intrigues and he has even more to say than his open letter reveals. I took the occasion of his open letter to reach out to this brave member of our military. Here is our conversation:

Warner Todd Huston: What drove you to post this reply to Senator Feinstein?

Joshua Boston: I've been seeing this nonsense about gun control in the news since forever. Senator Feinstein regularly touts the effectiveness of the first Assault Weapons Ban while pointing out the "loopholes." So she proposes this new ban legislation. Given the tragedy that happened recently it has considerably more traction with folks, most who rely in some major way on emotions and what they're being told by the media about these "Weapons of Mass Destruction." My Windham Weaponry SRC sits in my home loaded and ready to be used should the need ever arise. It does not make me a criminal.

I'm sick of being told by people in Washington D.C. what is okay for me to own for my own personal defense while they enjoy the safety of many armed guards with better firearms than I have access to. It's hypocritical.

WTH: In your opinion, what do you think the Second Amendment is for?

JB: Looking at the founder's times and what they had just gone through, it was something they put in there for us should we ever find ourselves in their shoes and have to reassert, because of whatever manifestation of tyranny, our inherent right to freedom and liberty.

WTH: Do you support concealed carry laws?

JB: I hold a CHL with the state of Texas. I would prefer there not be a bureaucratic apparatus whose hoops I have to jump through so that I may defend myself should the need ever arise outside of my home. Who are these legislators to tell me that I may not defend myself outside of my home because they don't have my fingerprints on file?

WTH: Do you believe in any sort of gun restrictions?

JB: The only gun restriction I would favor is one in which only VIOLENT felons are prevented from purchasing or possessing a firearm. Other than that, why does the government or the police need them if I am not allowed to have one?

WTH: Some liberals say regular Americans shouldn't be allowed to have guns because they aren't trained. As a trained member of the military yourself, do you think average citizens have the ability to use guns correctly?

JB: Despite the training I received while in the Marines, I am a regular American. I am not exceptional. I am not superior. I am an American just like any other citizen. I've seen "average citizens" use guns extraordinarily efficiently when I go to the range. This is because they are responsible people who seek knowledge when they don't know something. So yes they have the ability, and they should be able to purchase whatever weapons they deem sufficient for their needs.

WTH: Some people fear that government will use the military to forcibly disarm the public if gun banning laws get passed. What is your sense of your fellows in the armed forces. Do you think they'd follow orders to forcibly disarm the public?

JB: In my 8 years of service I could probably count on one hand the number of people that I met who would forcibly disarm the American public. The vast majority of American service members that I know and that I served with recognize that the Constitution is what we pledge to obey.

WTH: Do you feel that there will be any retaliation by the Marines for having posted your reply?

JB: I was honorably discharged on July 31st of this year. I'd certainly hope they wouldn't "retaliate" in any way because I am doing my civic duty and keeping myself informed. I think that would go against our motto: "Honor Courage and Commitment"

WTH: Any other thoughts?

JB: I just hope that our elected representatives do not vote for this heinous attempt to make me and my fellow Americans defenseless against predators and criminals.

snip

This Marine is right on the money. Thoughts?

There's very little left to say, all his points are "spot on". I might point out that over the last 3 years Texas has extended the "Castle Doctrine" to include your car or truck and allows one to be armed within the confines of home and auto and the direct transport to/from the vehicle. If one wants to "carry" a weapon on their person, there is the "CHL" or Concealed Handgun License as stated in the interview.

I salute this Marine for his candor and efforts.
For myself, "I'm not going to say what I'm not going to do!"

Ya He has said everything. But we all know that no one will listen and they will still continue their gun grabbing campaign. Stay strong America. Don't let this corrupt government walk all over you. If you have to, Fight to keep your rights.

We shouldn't be looking in amazement at this man's courage - which is nothing else but normal behaviour of a free man conscious of his own value, rights and values - as much as we should notice with deep dismay the spineless cowardice of the many others...

I fully support everything this man says in the article. If you don't believe they are trying to pull a fast one just go to your local Walmart, Dicks, etc and try to purchase any caliber round and see if they limit you to 6 boxes per person per day via a memo from DHS. It's true and remember there is no legal limit right now or law that I know of that allows them to dictate how many rounds you can buy at 1 time. Yet they are doing it. Even if you don't own a weapon go ahead and try to purchase what I said and see if I am wrong. They are already doing things in a shady way and it will continue to get worse if people don't stand up and yell. And it won't stop at guns either for the crybabies that hate guns, your rights to other stuff are next.

I wonder if that is a legitimate "memo" or if the retailers are trying to stop the run on ammo?

Side note: is that a yellow napped amazon in your avatar?

Well done sniper, and bumped.
I don't own a TV anymore, but none the less heard the Senator's
sound bytes. Seems she got a concealed permit and her own piece
after a bout of being terrorized while transporting and caring for her
ill husband, as I understand it... also some other well directed threats.
What makes her safety more important than ours?
I suppose most of us citizens will lay down our weapons right after
the militarized police, internal standing regular Army; and most of
all, the criminals like who spooked her comply with the bill too.
We're waiting, Senator...

The fight that was forever just a whacky conspiracy theory is now at our doorstep.
Our Government knows this.
They have prepared for this.
WE, as a whole, have not.

This is why they have purchased hundreds of MILLIONS of rounds of ammunition.
WE don't need everybody.
WE don't need 350 million people with guns in their hands.
WE only need what the founders of this great nations needed.

10%.
Roughly 30 million people.
GOOD FKN LUCK getting the best of 30 million well armed people.

This is going to be bloody as hell and they know it.
The tension in the air is so thick you could cut it with a knife.

Never forget, as we go thru this, they have, own, and control the ENTIRE Mass Media Network.
They WILL make anyone and EVERYONE who resists efforts to criminalize gun ownership look like the dangerous nutjobs.

The only time you have to worry about the typical upstanding American gun owner getting dangerous is when you try to take his guns away.

Then, you're damn right he is dangerous.

But,

To whom?

The US government, such hypocrites. They'll sell any weapon system available with all of its horrible intent to any dictator that can pay. People who sure as # will use them to a bad end. Yet the average American needs to be disarmed. Something sure doesn't smell right to me. They will let policemen maim and kill with impunity and make every excuse for them and threaten to take your life away for filming it or crying foul. Why should we roll over and play dead for these damn people? If anybody needs to be disarmed it's them.

Who cares what they say? Just because they say that we have to register or turn in our weapons....who says we have to. Our constitution is the real law, despite what they say. Just because they choose to break the law and then write new ones in its place.....means nothing. I won't put my faith in their vanity.
They are fat congressmen and senators anyway. Their jobs are to sit on their fat @sses, and rake in the cash made with the sweat and blood of the American People, unjustified, unearned and unworthy.

They think because they have high opinions of themselves and make more money because of whom they know..that they are somehow better than we.

They think we are their servants....This is the whole vanity thing because reality suggest, if the American dragon gets to pissed off, we will see the true reality and not just the media hype.

They will not just be our servants... THEY WILL BE OUR B!TCHES!

So screw them and their arrogance and take them as seriously as they take you. Don't fear their media, it is 90% worse than the real picture.

They keep secrets from us,....If they say we have to register our guns or turn them in, guess what little secret I will be keeping from them?

I suggest you all do the same, lest 1776 happens all over again, and this time we stand without a way to fight back.

This is always the first real step to set up a dictatorship. History proves this.

Tell them nothing and keep secrets from them...the same as they do with you.
It's one of the laws of Sun Tzu......make them think you are weak...when you are strong
When they come to wage war....let them come in.

US= The land of hypocrisy

The US Gov. will sell arms to little brown nations and then blow the hell out of them later.

And now they want gun control? Hah!

Murderers wanting gun control... Hmmmmm. Gee guys, let's hand all of the citizens guns to murderers!

Great idea gang!

History is yet repeating itself again.

Whether or not I agree with gun laws in the US is irrelivant as I am a citizen of the UK

However this marine is spot on.

Your right to self defence is simply that, a right.

What next your right to freedom of speech ?

Don't let them take away your rights or your guns America

Just the usual poop.

The circular logic is ridiculous! All guns should be legal so that I can protect myself from people with guns!? Really!!!!????
And then he said - only the violent criminals should not be permitted to purchase guns! WTF? Is this guy a comic? They already have them! It is these people you are declaring you need to protect yourself against! Idiot. If it was so easy you wouldn't need a gun would you?

A modern advanced society does not need a gun in every home.

Oh, and also, if his premise that the founding fathers put gun ownership into the constitution because:

"JB: Looking at the founder's times and what they had just gone through, it was something they put in there for us should we ever find ourselves in their shoes and have to reassert, because of whatever manifestation of tyranny, our inherent right to freedom and liberty. "

So everyone should have guns all the time, just in case at some point one day sometime in the future there is some tyranny!. Riiiight!

Yea, I guess you're right, do you prefer to ball up in the fetal position, or do you go for the full out crying, sobbing, and begging? Just curious to what you do when threatened.

Have a super day.

Your funny! lol

What should I do when threatened? Threatened by whom? In fact, come to think of it, I don't think I ever really get threatened very much. Do you? What do you do?

If your government turns on you any pea shooter you have n your draw will only lead to your earlier demise. It will not free you. You can't beat the American government. Not even if you all had 2 guns each. Wake up! This is not the path of a sane society. If all you gun owners are so worried abut your government try choosing another one!

I'm having a super day, thank you! I hope you are too.

well, it seems we have the same situation. I own guns, yet I have never been threatened. My guns have killed nobody, or even been pointed at a person. What type they are is not important. But if I was to ever be threatened by someone with a weapon, I would feel much better knowing I had one, then wished I did.

And thanks!

When I have the odd female visitor, and boy are they 'odd' and they see my collection of nasty evil collection of metal, wood, and plastic, I have to explain to them that those 'things' do not dig the ore out of the ground, do not refine it, do not machine it, do not make their own ammo, do not load the 'gun' or mag, do not cock it, do not aim it, do not pull the trigger, but a human does, just how does a 'gun' kill someone on its own volition? no matter how much I scream at a 'gun' it just lays there, People kill people.
