Hi all ATSers and staff!
This story/video was on our local news here in Sacramento. Reporting witness claims it is iPhone video shot through a telescope viewfinder of a celestial bright body which appears to be orbited by a smaller bright body. The video is over-zoomed with digital pixelation..soooo... there are two portions of video. one shows the orbiting behavior, one shows a post-explosion glowing debris behavior.

1. an apology if this is posted elsewhere.
2. feel free to move this to the appropriate spot.
3. all credit to CBS13 sacramento for the story, and to the gentleman who captured the video.

Thanks for the site! and hope everyone has a GREAT 2013!

The Introduction Forum is for introductions To tell something about you; not to start a thread about a topic.“Intro threads” that are really “topic threads” or spam will be removed. Welcome to ATS, it’s time to introduce yourself.

I'm sure you'll understand the necessity for us having rules like this. It helps keep all the great threads and topics in their perspective areas of interest and not all lumped together, making it difficult to find when wanting to make additional comments.

After you have managed to get 20 posts under your belt, start your own thread in one of the appropriate areas. Please review the post I made below for more information concerning the policies and Terms and Conditions of your membership.

Thanks for the link. I knew I'd probably be behind the curve on this one. Oh well, I shall continue to observe and report when I can.

Thanks again
