I just do not get some of you folks. Listing obscure quotes from the Bible...an ancient religious text that has absolutely NOTHING to do with today
and then comparing what you pull from that ancient text with events today?
Well, here's the problem.
34 For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and
commanded the porter to watch.
35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
Ancient peoples were fixated on the distant future. The Mayan Calendar. The Bible's last day's. Etc. Even Jesus Christ was worried about this
future date as well. He left warnings about it in his prophesies. And now the odd thing is that current news is reading like 2000-3000 year old end
of the world prophesy.
And when the prophesies of Daniel suddenly go 3 for 3 in the past 10 years it gets my attention. Especially considering event 5 looks like a prophesy
about the United States.
4 And when he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of heaven; and not to his posterity, nor
according to his dominion which he ruled: for his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others beside those.
21 And the rough goat is the king of Grecia: and the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king.
22 Now that being broken, whereas four stood up for it, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not in his power.
23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark
sentences, shall stand up.
24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the
mighty and the holy people.
The Antichrist appears to be an American if this theory of mine holds up.
