Reasonable theory, however legalized marijuna for both medical and recreational as of this year are doing ok with an occasional raid here and there. The law enforcment in those states do not fight the Fed, maybe the state judicial system legally. I feel the real problem would be the massive Fed contracts held by the gun manufactures, like the many FN holds towards FN and FNH gun models. They would fold on the state if this happened.

Not a theory its a fact. It's because they are all bought off by the fed. There have been 3 county sheriffs that have stood up to the feds and won. One of them Sheriff Richard Mack won a landmark Supreme Court Case that Stipulates the Sheriff Is the highest LE in his county and does not answer to anyone but the people of his county. Not the feds or even the state.. He has been trying to educate county sheriffs ever since but few are listening as they don't want to risk losing that federal bribe money... sheriffmack.com...

Good luck to South Carolina true other states have done the same only for it to be sent to the courts.

Sad that it even has to go to the courts in the first place, and also a shame that the federal goverment wants to play master.

Federal gun regulation is made possible by the interstate commerce clause "giving the power" to the feds.

Guns sold across state borders are subject to the governments command guns sold within a states borders are exempt.

Good luck getting some to understand that tho.

Believe the count is up to 25 or so states that have tried this none have succeeded.
