The world is as risky a place now as it was in 2012.

There is no rational reason to assume anything changed when 2012 became 2013. Nothing broken has been fixed.

People who had irrational fears in 2012 based on mumbo jumbo and youtube fear mongering may be temporarily euphoric until they get some other nonsense to obsess about.
