I have had a complicated life too. I understand.

See, it is never black and white.

Maybe we can compare notes someday.

1. Have you ever looked in someone else's medicine cabinet, without their knowledge?

Not that I can remember.

2. Have you done anything nice for anyone in the past 2 weeks, just to be nice?

My failing health prevents me from doing anything grand, but just yesterday a neighbor left a full pack of cigarettes on the front porch. I made sure he got them back. Yes, I am a smoker.

3. What is the least favorite thing you like about yourself?

Ear hair. Nose hair. No hair on top. Oh the irony of it all!

4. What would be the worst thing you would do to achieve your goal in life?

I am honest up to four million dollars; anything less just wouldn't be worth the trouble of stealing. This should've been written in past tense. I'm old. I don't have goals such as this anymore.

5. Have you ever been a hypocrite? Preaching one thing but doing another?

Sure. People should NOT smoke. BRB I need cigarette.

As I put it, it's the big things that show you care, and the little things that show how much.

Oh, I like that!

Did you make that up yourself?

Not sure. At best, I did. At worst, I just remembered it all by myself.

Yes, when I was in HS I would snag a few from grandma...she had anxiety......Now, I don't care to know, but I will admit that I am curious about bath tubs LOL!!

OMG every day that I would work, I would tell all my patients about how they needed to quit smoking while needing a fix myself.....glad I finally quit!!!!!!!!

I've noticed that some people think their way of life is the only way.

1. Have you ever looked in someone else's medicine cabinet, without their knowledge?
No, I never thought about it.

2. Have you done anything nice for anyone in the past 2 weeks, just to be nice?
Not really, I don't usually do that (I used to all the time, but now it's the trust thing) - wait. I did. I gave someone a ride to hang out even though the weather was a bit sketchy and they were begging, and ended up wrecking my car.

3. What is the least favorite thing you like about yourself?
I have trouble trusting people - major trust issues. I'm also afraid to stand up for myself a lot of times or be myself, which is only getting worse with the recession. There used to be a lot more freedom out there, now it feels like we are returning to the 50's, with strict societal rules.

4. What would be the worst thing you would do to achieve your goal in life?
Right now, nothing. I am going to try to take a nap and hope that when I wake up, I am feeling more positive. I just had a bad social experience.

5. Have you ever been a hypocrite? Preaching one thing but doing another?
More than likely. If I am telling someone else how to act, it is usually my way of processing something that I am doing incorrectly. But I don't really tell someone off, I usually just discuss something like how I wish people would do this more, and I'm really talking about myself.

yep I'm nosy I can't help it, I like looking under the sink better lol

2. Have you done anything nice for anyone in the past 2 weeks, just to be nice?

yes I took food and some extra blankets to the homeless guy under the bridge, who shows up in the ER every once in awhile

3. What is the least favorite thing you like about yourself?

I'm quick to judge, I shouldn't especially in my line of work, your not supposed to but I still do, after seeing human nature at it's worst day in and day out it gets hard to see the good in people. Not proud if this but I do my best to give people the benefit of the doubt until they prove me wrong........ I usually don't have to wait long lol.

4. What would be the worst thing you would do to achieve your goal in life?

stop trying

5. Have you ever been a hypocrite? Preaching one thing but doing another?

lol I'm a nurse.... I tell people to eat healthy when I had a red bull and payday for lunch. Tell them smoking will kill them right after I come back from sneaking one myself.

random side note: I'm super proud of myself for learning this quote box thing I always wondered how it worked and I finally figured it out go me!!!

1. Have you ever looked in someone else's medicine cabinet, without their knowledge?

I only do this if I'm staying with them. If it is just a party or something it won't cross my mind, but if I find myself burshing my teeth in their bathroom later I'm apt to look in the cabinets, under the sink, in the tub...

2. Have you done anything nice for anyone in the past 2 weeks, just to be nice?

Small things. I view general politeness like holding open doors as 'nice things'. Then again, when I'm the one working in the house I also tend to view doing the dishes and making dinner as 'nice'. I've gotten called out on being self-centered so honestly I don't know--I've always just preferred to stay in my own head.

3. What is the least favorite thing you like about yourself?

My lack of follow-through and my procrastination makes me feel like I'm still a teenager. It has gotten me in trouble enough times to affect other people's faith and perception of me.

4. What would be the worst thing you would do to achieve your goal in life?

At this point I'm asking myself, "don't you need ambition and an idea of what you want in life to know how far you'd be willing to go to acheive it?" That is the stage of life I'm at right now. As a placeholder I'd be willing to admit that I'm currently willing to deal with random emotional/mental abuse to bring home a paycheck.

5. Have you ever been a hypocrite? Preaching one thing but doing another?

This is something I'm pretty good at catching myself from and then apologizing to whomever I was almost hypocritical towards. My weak points though are my 5 year old and assuming something of someone whilst asking that they not assume anthing of me.

No, not really. I raid my folks for panadol sometimes, but never felt the need to look at someone else's medicine. You might just get a rude shock.

2. Have you done anything nice for anyone in the past 2 weeks, just to be nice?

We recently did the toy run, which is bikers dressing up their bikes in Christmas garb, and running across the city. At the end of it, we all give out donated presents to disadvantaged and disabled kids. It is the most fun you can have at that time of the year. My girls also buy two presents each year, and put them under the wishing tree. It's become something of a pilgramige for the kids each year.

3. What is the least favorite thing you like about yourself?

I suffer from depression and anxiety at times. It is slowly getting better with a move away from the negativity in my life, but sometime what has happened in the past catches up, and brings me down. I sometimes wish it was easy to cast it all aside and move on, but not the case.

4. What would be the worst thing you would do to achieve your goal in life?

I guess I wouldn't go too far if it meant someone else suffering at the expense of my own goals. I tend to get my way in time depending on the nature of what it is I want, usually without upsetting too many people in the process. I guess though, if my family were threatened then I would go too far if it meant protecting them.

5. Have you ever been a hypocrite? Preaching one thing but doing another?

I'd have to say yes. In my years of management I would often use the "do as I say, not as I do" method. It's hard not to be sometimes, especially when it comes to your own kids. They sometimes don't understand you do things knowing the consequences, which they're still learning.
