.............you don't get it. when we go in to these countries to "make them better", which really is just to make US corporations more money, we enslave the people in debt. foreign aid comes with stipulations, and those stipulations exploit these countries of their natural resources and make a few people rich while destroying the lives of most.

this strictly has to do with natural resources for the government and eventually large contracts for private corporations in the US. that is it. it's just greed, greed, and greed.

No, the US creates alliances with the countries in question, and then they come to the US for their needs, instead of going to China. This prevents China from getting a foot hold on the continent.
