There are a few occultations of planets and bright stars by the Moon each year. Here are the ones for 2013: asa.usno.navy.mil...

Whether you will see one depends on your location. In Dec 2008, there was a spectacular occultation of Venus visible in Europe. www.youtube.com...

Avani Soares has much better quality of pics of the moon with a telescope than NASA has ever shown with alleged satellite orbiter footage.

But, I assume this must have a light filter of some sort.
We never see these softly muted light color ranges as viewed from Earth.
The moon is either in shadow or garishly lit by the Sun.

Does anyone have any telephoto pics of the moon taken in daylight on Earth, or only at night?
Do the photos appear differently if so?

TIA

I'd like to see those images. Do they have the 0.26 m/pixel resolution like this image from the LRO satellite? wms.lroc.asu.edu...
LRO images provide highest resolution available to date. wms.lroc.asu.edu...

The camera can sometimes pick up the subtle colours of the Moon, and you can even see them in a telescope. No filter required.

Plenty of daylight Moon photos on Google.
