Lol, that is so much infringement to bear arms it's laughable. It won't get past the house. Assault rifle bans are easy to get around any way.

Buy a kit off the Internet and build it yourself. Who cares what the government says about the mags? Order them off the Internet, like before.

Wow, if I were a criminal or a terrorist, I would for sure support this bill. The ease with which crime can be gotten away with when there is no resistance to be met makes this kind of legislation a wet dream for anyone looking to advance their career in crime or terrorism. If Osama bin Laden were still alive, he would have a new hero in Dianne Feinstein. Maybe this will cause more youngsters to take up a life of crime when they otherwise wouldn't have; such a lifestyle is more appealing with the risks removed.

About 80 cops killed in the line of duty last year......but jane and john doe dont you bother yourself none.

Scary post friends.

Look a nazi germany.

Socialist system/medical was put in place as well as this:

In 1919, the German government passed the Regulations on Weapons Ownership, which declared that "all firearms, as well as all kinds of firearms ammunition, are to be surrendered immediately." [2] Under the regulations, anyone found in possession of a firearm or ammunition was subject to five years' imprisonment and a fine of 100,000 marks.

Sad and scary day!!!!!

Do i stay i U.S.? Or move for bluer/safer waters elsewhere? Considering the American sheople I try to wake up, prefer to watch their flat screens, eat their junk food, and wash it all down with flouride water

California just needs to get the F out of the union, then they can do what in the hell they want.

hey, wait a minute....i live in california...for every $1.61 we pay in fedral taxes, we only get back $1.00. we're getting tired of supporting other states. give us our tax money back, and we'll be glad to cut you welfare-taking thieves off, and start our own country. put up your own money, and pay your own way. just so you know, i'm not too fond of her either.

Are you kidding me? California can't pay it's own bills. That .61 cents you aren't getting back is for the all the money the Feds gave California to keep it from collapsing. The California economy use to be great, now it can be compared to a that of a 3rd world country. It spends way more than it will ever take in. It is a Welfare state.

I love all the quotes that folks put up from our founding fathers, like they are speaking through you.

Our founding fathers made the constitution so that it could ebb and flow with the needs of the nation.

They could not see far enough down the road at the advancement in fire arms to be able to predict how lethal they would become when found in the wrong hands.

The average US citizen does NOT need a military grade weapon.

We certainly don't need them to hunt.

hahahahahahahaha, using logic like yours ...

They could not see far enough down the road at the advancement in fire arms to be able to predict how lethal they would become when found in the wrong hands.
then the 1st Amendment couldn't possibly apply to television, electronic media, cell phones, the cloud, or any other "new age" media portal in use today.

after all, they couldn't possibly foresee its abuse today, could they?
fyi, the 'standard' hunting rifle is more powerful than those claimed to have been used in the latest attacks

those who don't know what they're talking about, really should learn before spewing endless nonsense.

perhaps it's time to present legislation that specifically encourages the utilization of gun control activists for target practice

Our founding fathers anticipated changes and put in measures for amending the Constitution through ratification by 3/4 of the states, after approval by 2/3 of Congress. In other words, times change, but let's really think long and hard before we change this document.

The modus operani du jour is Executive Orders, Legislating from the bench, and it's just a piece of paper.

Considering catridge based ammunition had been in use since the 16th/17th century and how quickly rifles evolved in even their time and before it would be extremely foolish to think that not one of these men would be able to put two and two together.

The Roman Candle Rifle was essentially a musket machinegun in the early 1800's.

The whole "they never could have seen it coming!!!" thing is ridiculous.

You do realize that the most popular arms of today are 60, 65, 76 and 100 years old?

There's nothing marvelous or unprecedented about the technology in modern firearms.

The NRA has given there summery of this bill. It includes ALL hand guns, not just some but all of them. In addition the bill also includes Rocket launchers for those whom have them .

Feinstein’s 1994 ban listed ⠀œgrenade launcher € as one of the prohibiting features for rifles. Her 2013 bill carries goes even further into the ridiculous, by also listing €œrocket launcher.

NRA Summery

You must click an additional link on the above Page to read the summery.
According to this bill Americans will be left with a. 22

You right, that she has no experience with firearms, except the 357 she carries. Other than that she has Pictures!

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.)—author of the federal “assault weapon” and “large” ammunition magazine ban of 1994-2004—has announced that on the first day of the new Congress—January 3rd— she will introduce a bill to which her 1994 ban will pale by comparison. On Dec. 17th, Feinstein said, “I have been working with my staff for over a year on this legislation” and “It will be carefully focused.” Indicating the depth of her research on the issue, she said on Dec. 21st that she had personally looked at pictures of guns in 1993, and again in 2012.

See my post above this one for the complete article.

I think the biggest problem isn't guns and gun ownership, but irresponsible parents giving children with emotional issues access to guns in the first place. These parents are far more to blame then guns or their son. I haven't heard word one in the lame stream media about how this sick kid got ahold of his Mothers guns in the fist place? We personally keep our guns in a gun safe, because no one can be sure they won't be robbed when out of the house. Is the media going to ignore this aspect just because the Mother is dead? If I posted this in the wrong spot forgive me.

Senator Dianne Feinstein has been a busy little bee while people are out on holiday. . .

I'm listening to her & other senators right now on Reauthorizing H.R. 5949 (Bush's Warrantless wiretaps & more).

Senator Dianne Feinstein is disputing the 4th amendment and saying that we need to Reauthorize H.R. 5949.

Two Senators from Oregon are standing up against D.Feinstein and supporting the 4th amendment. These two senators are arguing against making these types of decisions in secrecy and that this debate need to be made public in view of the citizens of U.S.

[my apologies for derailing thread but figured it pertained to the individual in which thread was made about]

Glad you brought up the fourth ammendment...I firmly believe the assault is on freedom from illegal search and seizure from authorities. Without skirttailing this right, there is no possible way to enforce a forced government buyback, confiscation, or permitting grandfathered weapons.

The warrantless wiretapping bill already sets precedence for such an end-around of the 4th ammendment.

I noticed that prices on both armalite rifles and both .223 and .308 ammunition has effectively doubled in the last month here in NY.

Just jumping in here. There is no debate about gun control, only among the ignorant and premeditated evil.
Well meaning Ignorant and evil people like to bring this up for debate as if there is a question about our right to bare arms.
Obama can decree anything he wants to. They can write laws until they run out of ink. it makes not one spec of difference. Not one. Hollow decrees and hollow demands.
We don't have guns for hunting. Our guns are for killing dictators.
Somewhere in their demented minds they got to know that the fight will not be one in which they will escape.
Do you think for a moment that the skilled patriots of this country are gonna let them start a war and escape it?
They think they will crawl into their holes and hide. Their holes will become tombs.
WE are a free people because we are armed. It will remain that way or there will be hell fire on those who seek to change it. And if by chance they would somehow win the day then God by his almighty power will destroy them from the face of the earth. Good always wins out in the end. It's written in the book. It's in the movies and it is in the psyci of mankind. What dumb creature would presume otherwise?
If you want to remain ignorant then continue to debate this with the ignorant. or make peace with the great God of liberty and live. Christianity equals liberty. Everything else equals the opposite.

The government is clearly utilizing the mass shootings as a method to implement gun control. They want the american people disarmed and I would'nt be shocked if the majority of these shootings were orchestrated by the government itself STAY AWARE!

I believe the average US citizen should have the right to own a military grade weapon and I would advocate it ,do you forget that it's the government that is against the american people . I believe you should research government policies and you'll swiftly realize that they are not in the interest of the average person.
