SO is right, free speech isnt guaranteed within the confines of privately owned forums. I do agree that any censorship should be saved for instances of endangering someone's privacy or life. Definitely not sweeping censorship of a topic because some people might get their feelings hurt.

Actually I was just posting a quote from an article........and asking how they think there is no conspiracy when there obviously is, not just with the story but the cover up and NOW being restricted to even post about it.

There are plenty of things on ATS over the years that have been solved, from missiles that turned out to be contrails, to countless chinese lanterns.

The inability to understand reality as it is does not mean there is a conspiracy.

Without going down this rabbit hole too far, it is plain as day that both sides of the arguments have crossed lines. The 'believers' are as guilty, if not moreso, of using words like "troll" and "sheeple" and "agent" when someone doesnt agree or presents evidence to the contrary of the "theories".

Heck, you can see it in this very thread-the accusations that those who disagree are intentionally there for no other reason than to get a thread shut down.

The overwhelming attacks on those who would disagree, along with the baseless defamation of innocent people is what has gotten things to the tipping point, and is what has gotten threads shut down. It has nothing to do with "agents" attempting to hijack threads.

I may not agree with you 100% of the time Cap, but that post needed a star.
And I don't care who's watching anything... when people blog away who let
debate (with facts, hopefully) turn into controversy (with opinion, mostly)
threads unravel. SURE it's unfortunate, in the first place search for truth is

another interesting thing eve found, is when you start making valid points in one discussion and maybe peeling back the truth, wham moderators out of nowhere hacking away points in other forum discussions for little things, seems shady .

But anytime you are censored , you know you are on the right track ^^
