I have NO trouble believing this. Conspiracy theorists have been saying this for so many years, that some have stopped listening. That's because the "secret government" thinks in terms of DECADES. They usually do things slowly -- so as not to startle the sheep.

Obama was chosen by TPTB precisely because he's Black. That way anyone who opposes Obama can be smeared as a "racist" and that's enough to shut up many of his critics (especially among the Liberals).

It amazes me how asleep the average American is, but I also think this is a function of DENIAL.

They do NOT want to think too deeply about anything. It's easier for them to pretend that the mainstream media is telling them the truth and everything is okay.

They do NOT want to know what's really happening.

We will see how this collapse unfolds -- it's only a matter of time.

Some will say we already passed this point but it has yet to be implemented.

again, friend of a friend type stuff.

If you have people foolhardy enough to mount an open rebellion against TPTB, I think they will be crushed quickly. I don't care what kind of weapons stockpiles they have, they are NO match for the professional military.

Their (the rebels) best chance of survival is to remain underground and unidentified -- secret cells of resistance.

They have advance warnings on other potential threats, and are preparing accordingly... And they should be, without the ability to contain and control the "situations" the outcome could be horrific to say the least.

oooh, of all the scary stuff I have read in this thread this is the most frightening.

Lots of FEMA coffins and lots of FEMA "camps" out there. Thats the big plan.. They are going to catch everyone off guard when the $ drops, if your unprepared and scared DONT WORRY! Everything will be fine...

"We have camps already in place to house the victims (which will be nearly everyone) of this financial crisis."

Yeah, go sign on that dotted line. They want slave labor, theres an intercontinental trading route that needs to be built and TPTB aren't coming out of they're own pockets to see it through.

Anyone remember the Amero? All the talk of the North American Union and intercontinental trade agreement? That stuff hadn't gone anywhere..

I don't know whether you, 1/2 Nephilim, are being sarcastic or not.

One of the few good things from Assange, was a classified cable to a Canadian embassy on how to "sell" the North American Union (they called it something else, but it's the same thing under a different name) to the Canadian public.

People will NOT believe what they don't want to. The North American Union has been in the works for DECADES.
The CFR plan for the "North American Community" was implemented on 1 Jan 2009, just before Obama was inaugurated in Jan 2009.

It amazes me how people still think the introduction of Spanish in US officialdom in the early & mid 1980's was merely to make things easier on our "Mexican guest workers." When it was all about acclimating the average American to "Spanish spoken here."

This is when US gov agencies (Fed & State) became bi-lingual. The average American sees nothing suspicious about this!

It was also in the 1980's when major corporations started to ship US jobs overseas in a serious way -- thereby gutting the US middle class.

The collapse of the US Dollar has been orchestrated on purpose. Only by making the US Dollar worthless, would the average American consider the introduction of a new currency.

The North American Union is coming. I'm not saying it's coming in the next year or the next five years, but it is coming. And you will have Americans actively selling the idea to other Americans. Some of our young have already been brainwashed into thinking this is a good thing -- the NWO and the One World Federation.

Nevermind that it means a loss of US sovereignty -- that the US will no longer be able to make unilateral decisions that are based on its own self-interest, the self-interest of its citizens.

The US will be dictated to by a non-US agency above it.

RB: People better pay close attention over the next few months. First, there won’t be any meaningful deal about the fiscal crisis. This is planned, I mean, the lack of deal is planned.

Do you mean the fiscal cliff thing? Surely a lack of a deal would be a good thing? Living more within your means and all that. Although you need to get a bit more serious about making cuts.

I'd guess they'll vote themselves another huge pile of freshly printed money at the last minute.

I don't really believe the story overall.. but I've been thinking all along that they wouldn't reach a deal and I personally don't think it's a bad thing.. I think it's something that really has to happen .. it won't be pleasant for any of us because we'll have to pay more over the course of the year.. but it will send a rush of revenue back into the system.. Now if they can reign in the budget at the same time it will be even better in the end.

I think there's a lot of fear mongering on this topic.. even in the name .. "fiscal cliff" sounds frightening.. it's really just a default set of laws that will kick in to force revenue back into the system.

The republican side of this is not budging.. their hope is that we go over the cliff and that Obama takes the fall for it being viewed as a horrible event.. then they can posture for the whitehouse in 2016

It sounds frightening by design.

In reality, going off of that "fiscal cliff" would not be all that doomish. It would mean massive cuts in spending, and raise taxes. It would essentially force a faster and more dramatic push down a path toward a balanced budget.

Something that is going to have to happen sooner or later, one way or another. The reason both parties are playing on the public fears of the "fiscal cliff" is they need to use that fear to support their dramatic agendas. It is politics at its best. IF no deal is reached the world doesn't end, it wont be as bad as you've been made to believe, and both parties will spend weeks blaming the other side for all of the problems.

Enjoy the show, there are far worse things than this that could happen.

This scares the jeebus out of me. Mainly because it seems so plausible.

Thing is, I'm not so sure about this Hagmann cat. What's his deal? Why is this being written for a Canadian site?

I saw that the guy has a radio show with his son, but I can't get anything to work on my iPad.

Id have one question for the alleged "Rosebud", maybe one of our more estimable posters can answer it instead. He claims that any resistance movement would be easily crushed because we'd be outnumbered, regardless of Oath Keepers and the like. He seems to think NATO or UN troops would make this an easy win for the forces of evil. We have 300 million weapons in this country. Let's say two million of those weapons, plus a faction of liberty minded military and law enforcement....that's hardly a mismatch in the numbers game. Any sort of occupation by a foreign entity, or a direct domestic military engagement would be an absolute quagmire for the aggressors. So how does he come up with that theory? Why does he think it would be such a mismatch?

This whole thing has given me a very unsettled feeling. It feels legit, and I really hope it isn't.

Some people recently asked me, "So...what are you going to do with all of your prepper supplies now that 12/21 has come and gone?"

(Local H heavy guitar sound)
And you just don't get it
Keep it copacetic
And you learn to accept it
you know you're so pathetic
And you just don't get it

I think some of what he says has some value but I can't take everything seriously on a site that looks like a supercenter store for precious metals and MREs. The more frenzied he gets, the more his readers want to click those ads and buy buy buy!

I think what threads show about this is that people are vicariously living their conspiracy fantasies through the "DHS insider". I looked at past threads from supposed DHS insiders, and could not find a single one that was ever accurate.

Its not surprise that fiscal cliff negotiations will likely go no where. It doesn't take a insider to tell you that. But these "insider sources" have been predicting the fall of the dollar FOR YEARS if you look up threads in this forum. All of them are 100% wrong, they are all clearly made up or people role playing, but EVERY SINGLE TIME they get lots of stars and flags despite 0 proof.

As per usual on ATS, its not whats true - its what people want to believe. Many posters here have spent so much time thinking doom was just around the corner they'll take any doom porn morsel they can get and then ignore all evidence to the contrary.

I'm not sure about what others are thinking, but I sure as heck don't want this to be true.

I want it to be wrong more than I can adequately express.

I think most people would agree that this would be the worst possible scenario. In order for this to really happen though, there would have to be mass executions. I'm not talking Hitler or Stalin or even Pol Pot. It would be something the world has never seen before. You wouldn't disarm and force hundreds of millions of free people (and gun owners) into labor camps without a bloodbath. People would also have to die, because the government wouldn't be able to house and feed that many people, even with the supposed FEMA camps already set up. As far as other countries coming in here to help the US occupation of it's own country, I think that's doubtful. If the US goes down, other economies would go down with it, maybe even to a higher extent.

Anyone ever heard of the "Ulsterman" political site? He is a conservative blogger who claims to be in contact with a number of anonymous "insiders" (White House Insider, Wall Street Insider, Republican Insider, etc.) who purportedly feed him proprietary information. This DHS Insider sounds a little too much like his insiders to me...

SINGAPORE: The Shanghai Gold Exchange said it will raise margins and daily price moving limits for its gold contracts to curb volatility around the New Year's Day holiday.

The exchange will raise margins on gold contracts, including the gold spot deferred contract from the settlement of Dec. 28.
LINKY

Maybe other exchanges will follow, maybe something IS going down (beyond simple margin hike for hike sake). I wonder if they are trying to shake weak hands out of the market in preperation... who knows..

This is a great example of blatant PM market manipulation. The banksters smash the price of gold and silver by naked shorting the market, in other words, they sell silver and gold that they do not posses to make it look like there is much more supply than there actually is. Raising the margin forces people that refuse to sell even in the face of a price smash. This exact scenario played out in 2011 when silver hit $50.

as well as an oil embargo

We are currently producing almost as much oil as Suadi Arabia is.
Should an embargo go into effect we'd simply ramp up production.

The derivative problem is that 1.5 quadrillion dollar financial weapon of mass destruction. Should that go off the entire world would be affected. Not just the United States.

We've all heard rumors of the Amero and all that BS. But it's just that. BS.

The DHS insider is going to have to put out alot more concrete information before I believe any of that.

I'm going to call B.S. on this one.

Not that these things couldn't happen-they probably will, given a long enough timeline. But I have a problem with people who predict the obvious and call it "inside information."

There is not a single new revelation here-just every right-wing paranoid survivalist trope from the last ten years cobbled together.

There's not a single piece of corroborating information anywhere, and no specifics that validate this guy's information. Precious metals are going to go down? That's the best you can do, insider?

The original website is pro-Glenn Beck, pro-birther and pro-Israel, so take that for what you will.
