No just that your title is very misleading and your quote that claims he/Obama canceled other similar programs twice himself is backed up from a wordpress blog with no evidence or supporting data. If this is true, please provide actual / reputable sources to confirm this. I'm not saying it isn't true, but you've provided no data.

Some of you people need some reading comprehension lessons and English lessons. As I said read the OP. The Headline is a mini summary so to speak of whats in the article not the entire article. Many of you posters are telling us that it's OK to publish outright lies about Obama, though he couldn't have done what the OP's headline says he did because Bush (who always had lots of armed guards, despite not being a child, and being neither use nor ornament) was President at the time.

Reading through this thread, I can see that Obama's kids need armed guards to protect them from the dangerous and irrational hate - unfortunately demonstrated here - which is directed at their father.

One of the program is called REMS he got 'rid' of on 2012. In 2007 the first warning was given not to cut funding for these types of programs and it was, in 2009....and 2011...and 2012. But who cares since there is no budget anyways right? They let it expire.

Facts are facts. Look them up they are real easy.

So there are 3 cuts for Obama and Bush saying no....any other questions.

and too be honest, it should be there but gun crime is down. Violent crime is down. This are specific crimes that are being carried out and we have to protect where it is weakest. Common sense folks, even an animal knows how to protect its young.
