I was eating a meal at the table, not paying any attention to CNN on the television until I turned and saw a picture of the shoe bomber with the date it happened also on the screen for about ten seconds with music going to break. The next image I saw was a pig seated on a plane. An insurance commercial.

Can people tell me what the point of this is?

This one isn't really a bad commercial.
The main goal of a commercial is to get your attention. Doesn't matter how stupid it is. It seems like this one worked. Not only did he watch it, but he's also slightly spreading it. I'm half tempted to search it, just because I kinda wanna see a 'Pig On A Plane'.

They just want me to see the name of their company. They don't care about what gets me there.

Pigs are obviously evolving to the point of being able to wear shoes, and when that pinnacle point is reached it's clear they will be stuffing their soles with high explosives to launch a guerrilla war against the "two legs" who have been killing their brethren all in the name of juicy bacon for Sunday breakfast.

oh dear... We've got some confusion here.

First the OP makes an intro that confuses people on ATS and thereby makes them paranoid of course... and what he's doing is trying to iterate a popular theory that Angels are bringers of light and can be seen as dangerous because of the knowledge they bring... but they are messengers of higher knowledge so it isn't really their fault. Some call it demonic and it's something people need to see through, because it's actually part of evolution.

Then the guy wants to know what the pig is doing in the commercial.

It's a joke from the term "....when pigs fly"

Others have already brought it up but let me explain. If something is likely to NEVER happen and someone asks when it will happen, you say "when pigs fly".... because that's never going to happen.

Except on TV.
