No man, they sincerely aren't. You said they are ruining "our lives" who else do you mean?
Also, I have a friend that's schizophrenic and studied it in abnormal psych. It's hard, but you have to go against your gut instinct and it may even
feel like you are putting yourself at risk or handing yourself into someone you can't trust, but your ability to discern who you can and can't trust
is sincerely hindered even if you don't think it is. You have to get a grip and go to a doctor and trust them even if it feels like you shouldn't. You
have considered this theory of yours so deeply that it makes complete sense and no part of it sounds crazy, but in reality it's all crazy. They are
not responding to what you are doing, you are just always doing things/the same things and so you see patterns and you are drawing wild conclusions
based on them.
You should really get help, these kinds of delusions (paranoia that some group is effecting the quality of your life) are the kind that get dangerous
for yourself and others. You will start thinking everyone offering help is trying to trick you, but we aren't.
