Not that this will make any sense if your not connected to a digital TV service, but...

Your watching your favorite TV show and suddenly it becomes blockier, or perhaps it freezes up completely with only portions still moving in real time. And if it continues you get the "Lost signal" notice against a blank screen. Does this sound familiar.

Even though thats a terrible example, it is just one example of what happens when a data stream gets interrupted in one form of media communications, we've all heard about satellites that dropout during solar flares and such.

So although I'd love for there to be some conspiracy behind something like this, but it happens all too often.

Like fiction becoming reality in a Star Trek script, where the Borg Cube arrives to assimilate our resources leaving only when our Sun is dormant and our World destroyed.
By their inactions are scientists and governments accomplices to this crime, or is there honor amongst thieves with them receiving payment for their participation?
Maybe these are benevolent Aliens not following Star Treks “Prime Directive”, and are here to save our Planet.
They could be working as some sort of thermostat, controlling the Sun’s temperature on Earth to prevent the effects caused by “Global Warming”.
This does leave us with a rhetorical question to ponder.
When we wake up one cold day with our Sun’s energy depleted - We may ask ourselves
