Chile and Argentina on alert over Copahue volcano eruption

Chile has raised the alert level for the Copahue volcano to red, the highest possible.

The 3,000m (10,000ft) volcano is in Argentina's south-western Neuquen province, near the Chilean border. It began spewing ash and gas on Saturday morning.
In Argentina, the authorities have told residents of local villages to monitor the situation.
Many people have already left the area as a precaution.
Ash has been raining down on both sides of the border.

Not sure if this has been posted though I could not find it.

What about the timing of this event? There is not much news that I could find about this but we need to keep an eye on it as it could hopefully assist to release some of the pressure we are experiencing at the moment.

The threat is the highest it can go. I hope it does not get too big and cause multiple chain reactions across the world.
