Um, plasma is very easy to create, vinegar would work.

Consider this, water, air, Earth (solid), fire (plasma).

The ancients knew something by instinct most moderns still don't understand.

Please explain how pouring vinegar into a plastic bottle creates plasma.

The ancients knew something by instinct most moderns still don't understand.
That fire is hot? I think most people understand that. That flame is ionized? I don't think the ancients understood that.

I was taught in school that there were only 3 states of matter.

But the reality, which the ancients understood, is that there are 4 states of matter.

www.cellular-news.com...

Well, Hutchinson is a large telco, their use of hydrogen fuel cells is a good idea for locations without reliable power.

Saying "the ancients" is pretty meaningless - which ones?

Maybe you mean the Ancient Greeks who thought that the elements were air, earth, water and fire. To think these were the fundamental building blocks of the universe was completely wrong - so their "intuition" didn't do them any favours. They certainly didn't understand ionisation, let alone the 5th state of matter: Bose-Einstein Condensates.

Ah, perhaps because the boson doesn't really exist.

Are you saying the Greeks contributed nothing?

False dichotomy. The Greeks contributed a lot culturally and philosophically but to insinuate that their scientific understanding surpassed ours is ludicrous.

But I did not insinuate such a thing.

Just pointing out holes.

Holes in what, exactly? Your scientific literacy?

Holes in the current state of institutionalized modern science, and the ability of their congregation to engage in an actual thought process, instead of regurgitating programmed nonsense.

Wow, hard to believe that you people don't find anything odd in that you were taught in school that there were only 3 states of matter, when in fact there are 4.

There are 3 "classical" states of matter, and there are quite a few more more than 4 other states.

That's what I was taught at school.

I can't guess what you were taught, but you don't give the impression you were paying much attention during science classes....

Well, if you went to a religious dogma institution, they didn't teach you anything at all, and that's pretty obvious in your posts.

Logic and Reason were probably considered to be heresey. Clearly You don't know a theory from a principle, and I doubt you could set up a proper lab test to save your life.

Also much I've had acccess to much more voltage from rubbing an inflated balloon on my own hair or when emptying a dryer full of laundry. Lots of potential for sparky crackly snappy zappy funtimes.

That was funny.

Stay away from computers ... and use Cling Free in your dryer, lol.
