Nothing is standing out (existing).
The appearance of nothing is seen by nothing.

So the belief is that there a 'life' experiencing 'existence'.
Really there is just experience. There is not something experiencing something.
There is only what is happening.
It is nothing happening.

You don't exist. You are nothing. Everything is nothing. There is nothing and there are no things.

So nothing IS real. You said earlier that nothing isn't real.

Nothing exists and it looks like this.

Realness is a proclamation of awareness. It is an opinion which is equally balanced by something that doesn't exist.

Have you ever considered the 'Noah' story? 'Noah' is also 'knower'.
The knower knows of two. The knower has separated himself from what is known and this makes two and from there a whole world is born.

DUDE!!!

This is all I'm saying!

You're making an argument when there is none. It just so happens that this happens to be how the universe came about to... Making am argument when there isn't one.

I wrote a post but i see no argument.
It is you who sees an argument when there is none.
The mind sees things that are not there and then fights with the illusion it created.

Really? The universe happened because of an argument.
How does that work? Who had the argument in the first place that made the universe?

I am not arguing - i just require more clarity.

I just don't know why I do it,you'd think I know better. In fact I DO know better yet still I do it.Story of my life !!!

What did I do ???

Clicked on another 'matrix' or 'computer simulation',nature of reality threads.Oh dear.

We all have our outlook, some like philosophy and want to look beyond the viel, others like fast cars and guitars

Normally the roundabout arguements over the nature of reality end up annoying me and I want to scream 'this is reality and we're stuck with it'.lol.

The obvious response I'm expecting is either unwriteable,in terms of taste and offensiveness or else something like why bother reading it then and what the hell you wittering on about !!

Like I said,I know better yet still I click

Well OP,I am really glad I did because if I hadn't I wouldn't have come across your link to the Full Theory of Nothingness !!

Can I say thank you,I'd never heard of it before today and admittedly have only skimmed through some bits that instantly stood out but....

It's got that simplistic beauty to it that, for me,things that ring true usually do.

Anything that can quickly settle the utterly perplexing,to me,questions of what was before the big bang and what exists outwith and beyond the universe by means of adjusting your perspective a few degrees is worth reading.

Don't take this post the wrong way,the first part is just sunday afternoon tongue in cheekery at my own failings with philosophy but genuinely thanks for posting that link because that truly does make sense, particularly to my engineering taught mind,,heat transferance, entropy and partcularly for a fast car man pressure differential,it all makes perfect sense

Its good sunday morning coffee reading isnt it

*looks around* Dammit... I am still stuck in the matrix. Where the hell is Morpheus and his fun-colored assortment of fun colored pharmaceuticals???

I'll take the... Purple pill.

The one where you're still stuck in the Matrix, but you are AWARE of it, yet powerless to fight it so you just bitch and moan about it all day on the web forums until your wife leaves with the kids because you are too "unstable" so the only way to subside the pain long enough to keep yourself alive and somewhat clean and presentable to the few people you do come into direct contact with is to stick a needle in your arm twice a day, sometimes thrice, and stick a pipe in your mouth every couple hours, and always followed by a cigarette...

*blinks a few times, rubs his eyes a bit and looks around* Ah, and there we are! Just like I pictured it!

By some great cosmic loophole, there was the possibility for time and space to seem different. So out of this loophole, awareness was formed, as the differentiator. Awareness was "formed" as a byproduct of the potential for differentiation between time and space.

So, please explain this "great cosmic loophole" - its origin, at least - so that I won't assume that you're simply pointing your finger at some other version of God in this quasi-theology you've constructed. I hate being a killjoy here, but there are a lot of people who are serious about trying to learn something concrete about the true nature of reality, and some of them read these threads that we post here. I'm simply trying to ask a question that some of our guests would be unable to ask without registering. Consider it as being an advocacy.

Thanks.

Then why are you tying to convince unreal people??

You see in this world there are two types of people my friend those who are real and those who are unreal.

There is nothing!!!!
No people.
This is nothing appearing as something.

You and smithjustinb should hook up and get an apartment together. The rent would certainly be reasonable.
