...for very minor questions/help?

I didn't notice that i spelled a word wrong and it makes the sentence sound stupid, but ive gone over 4 hours so i cant edit it, that kinda stuff.

I had a look around and without mailing random individual mods and such, how do i do it?

Do i use the chat (never done that before) or something like that?

thanks!

when you go to board home www.abovetopsecret.com...,
in the list of members at the bottom, the highlighted ones are mods that are online.
(i think so anyway, pls correct me if i'm wrong).

You could swear! That'll get a mod on you right away!

Or just go to your OP, place an "alert" on yourself and explain the problem. They are usually very prompt.

The alert is just a way to get any mod that is currently active to pay attention to a certain post or poster. It could be a bad thing OR a good thing. Some folks have posted some great things and I've used it to ask that they get applause.

Yeah im aware of it, but i assumed it was more like a "drop everything! someones said something amazingly inappropriate wake up all the mods, unleash the ban hammers" - button.

Thanks agin

Yup the Alert feature can be used for anything you'd like to get the staff to look into.

The only thing we frown upon is spamming the alert/complaints forum with things are that aren't relevant. ( like non existing T&C infractions due to opinion or something like that)

But anytime you need anything that only staff can handle, please feel free to file one.

It is the easiest way as it shows up in a mod only forum that we deal with.

you perform the secret handshake, lay out some beer and food and trail it from the office into a trap, then poke them with a stick till they answer lol

It's that, too. We much prefer the "applause" request aspect...
