Water Levels Rising On Both US Coasts?

I'm not sure what I'm seeing in these numbers. I do know they are not read as they normally do. The water levels seem to be rising from the north to the south.

Well, that says storm surge is checked on the right side, so I suppose it means that those numbers are (in feet or meters) the height of the water above tide level due to storms.

As an anecdotal mention. A couple months ago we were told that due to a Nor'easter that fell around a full moon, that tides would be higher.

Well, two months later and the water is still in those marshes and estuaries where they are not normally found permanently flooded. For a few years now, we were told that different trees were being affected by a blight that was killing them off in low lying areas. It wasn't and isn't. The cause is salt water incursion into former dry land hammocks.

It's like the tide came in one day years ago and never went out, and it's spreading.

I clicked the link in the OP and got a lot of other DHTML layers telling me to click other places.

I don't see anything relevant to the topic.

Well other than tidal flows and "storm surge" on the "East Coast"... same thing on the "West Coast".

I am sure the levels are up, actually yesterday I went for a run and it is so different after the hurricane. Now I have my own theory why? experiencing the hurricane up close and personal took my sanity away or I am actually on to something.
