I have to agree with the 97%. These psychos only had the ability to pull these acts because they knew there would be no chance of getting shot back at. How often you see this happen at a police station? sorry if this is posted. Didn't turn up in a search.

I was one of the Yes votes, still am. Just letting you know it won't be in the paper anytime soon. Probably never was.

It's bought and paid for media testing the waters to see how dumb the average American really is and you know what? I was actually shocked that the number of votes was so high and so overwhelming clear that Americans do understand there RIGHT to own firearms.

I have seen so many posts by shills and misinformed people yelling from the rooftops to ban guns this last week I guess I just figured there would be a forced buy back any day now but what I get from that poll is the large majority of those posts are dis info from paid shills which we already know are lurking out there in every social media format.

It amazes me how often this poll, from 2007, comes up on various forums.

Wait.... Huh? Why is there a question as to if it is still relevant in modern times? Did I miss the part in history where governments never cross the line of tyranny? Do we live in a Utopian society where people do not commit home invasions, car jackings, there are no rapes or kidnappings? No reason a law abiding citizen would need to protect his person, property or family?

In these "modern times" there is a question as if we should turn all power of the people and the means to protect personal freedom and liberty over to the government? They have earned that somehow? Did I miss something?

So by that logic we must repeal the first amendment.
