I bet they have problems if you fly aircraft still decked out with guns

I'd personally like a Replica of the Rutan ARES, odd but strangely cool plane...

I remember a friend telling me about two different companies that build 2/3 size replicas of Spits and Hurricanes, for engines they were supposed to use Jag V12s. Never heard or saw anymore about it. Personally my choice would be a 2/3 size replica of a Wellington.

Guess I'd need a multi-engine licence! How much does one of them cost?

No but there are jet warbirds for sale. Capitol Warbirds in Witchita sells
A-4 Skyhawks and just about every other Vietnam era jet is for sale. They have a F-18 and an F-16 for sale too. If ya got the dough you can buy it. No guns, but you have the cash to buy it you probably can figure it out. Heck, just go to Boeing and tell them you want a civilian version F-15. When you show them the money they just may stop laughing.

The only thing more awsome was Yeager shooting one down in his P-51. Now that was awesome.

Yeager was okay but for me it was "them coloured boys" from Tuskegee with the red tails.
Never lost an escorted bomber to enemy action and shot down five 262's in a single day.

Believe me, I am not a big Yeager fan. He is full of embellished bs and he will admit it. His motto, If you can't dazle them with ability baffle them with bull shi.
