I had a count down to 3:11 PST on my laptop with 1 min to go I stepped outside and gazed at a clear sky, waiting for something to happen anything.. And then I actually saw something, no not the end of the world but a shooting star, very odd coincidence since I can't even remember last time I saw one, maybe some kind of message. Who knows, anyway It's good to still be here I hope to be here tomorrow as well
I hope.

I didn't see a shooting star, but I was walking in a less than reputable area of town today and saw somebody shooting heroin, does that count?

He smelled like armpits and despair.

oh dear. that has nothing at all to do with this thread.

but this thread has nothing to do with itself. so......

constructing those fractal images was an excellent jumping off point for some genetic sequence information entropy analysis that I am working up into a proper thesis at the university. did you see my thread about quantum spin matrices? (p.s. respond over PM)

The world ended today at 11:11 GMT. Like all ghosts haunting a particular spot, all peoples of the world's nations do not know that they died. To them, the world continues as normal. There will be no guiding angency to point us towards the light...we have to find it on our own, each to his/her own individual way. RIP.

Shooting stars are nothing unusual on any evening, and the chances of seeing one at any particular moment when you glance at the sky are pretty high.

Millions of pieces of dust and small objects enter the earths atmosphere every day, the human eyes can detect around 15 of these every hour.

In any part of the world someone with good eyesight can see a shooting star every 15 minutes or so, with that in mind there is nothing particularly unusual about this sighting.

Regards Ed
