Shooters Hypnotised by Videogames removing mental barriers?

What do the recent 3 mass shooters all of in common?
All of them males
All of them white
All of them young
All of them...
Gamers
Gaming addicts.

Maybe, the point we are missing, is that they were HYPNOTIZED, into murdering through playing Videogames non stop? How might you ask?

These killers all spent hours and hours mass killing others in repetitive gaming. The same tools used for mind control. My mother is a hypnotherapist, and she states that repetition is one of the techniques hypnotherapists use to hypnotize someone and suggest they cure a negative behavior. I asked her if it could be used to implant a negative behavior, and she said sure, and laughed, and make a joke about not trying it on my wife.

Anyone want to add to the list? I gotta rap this up as life calls. Is this intentional? Hypnotic suggestion has been used in media for years. Is it because we like video games (myself included) do we not assume video games are doing this? It's a common link, and a conspiracy cite. This is just as credible or more then some of the other ideas being floated out there.

In my opinion, and i said again, just my opinion, I don't understand how people can say speculative things "like the Jews did it" and not say "video games did it via hypnosis" unless they are just trying to protect what they like and attack what they do not like.

I removed the whole "By They" part of this post. Because honestly, I don't believe it. But i do believe in the hypnotic repetition in video games having negative effect on people. I've seen it destroy lives. It's had a negative influence on my life (which i conquered). I have many friends who have disappeared due to being WoW addicted. CoD and WoW are causing young parents to be detached from their children, chasing a reward carrot, trying to get that next level, next perk. What I am arguing, is that maybe that hypnotic behavior broke down the walls of resistance keeping these killers mental barriers from stopping them. That the design of violent and repetitive video games was the "push" over the ledge for unstable young adults who committed horrible acts.

Why are all the other gamers not killing everyone?

Why I haven't I just snapped and started shooting people after I played a little Battlefield?

I am constantly killing people in video games, you don't see me snapping to go kill people in real life. Hell I constantly play postal, which is probably the most violant game next to grand theft auto and saints row. Yet you don't see me getting a gun and killing people outside of the gaming world.

I would guess that some people are more easily influenced then others. Why do some people at those hypnosis shows bark like a dog and others do not?

I'll add my son. He trains on call of duty like some kids play soccer. His team has ranked in the top ten in competitions. And he can murder a mountain dew like nobodies business.

I'm proud of him.

My contact with the outside world is very very limited. Sure I particpate on this forum and have maybe 1 or 2 acquiescence but that's it, I am what you would call a loner, never leave my house cept to get food or try to win some money at the casinos, but thats it.

Almost all serial killers are white, male and young... regardless of video games.

Bundy killed lots of women and the only games around at that time was pac man.

There were serial killers long before computers.

I've played video games since I was 5 years old, I play Call of Duty around 10 hours per week and going on a mass killing spree has NEVER crossed my mind. In fact I find playing Call of Duty a stress relieving activity.

I think that individuals with mental problems should be prohibited from playing these games though.

Same here, i have a highly addictive personality. I do not like CoD, but i was a MMORPG addict and i had issues with my marriage because of it. Having a child killed my addiction. But truth be told, I got extremely angry at my wife when she'd try to make me do non WoW things, and i know people who have gone through similar things playing WoW. This isn't about Cod alone. I personally, can control my anger, saw my problem, and changed. But what about someone with a worse addiction issue, and less self control, not understanding the feelings of anger they are experience, and loathing of society stopping them from getting their reward on a string? Could it hypnotically be pushing the on edge individual over the edge? Could someone be funding a major gaming company to design games to do this? Is that not possible?

They don't all play the same video games, but they all have a penis. Hmm.

Oh jesus, I just realized that all murderers in ALL OF HISTORY had brains, maybe that is the root cause of violence. It obviously is a factor every single murderer in the history of murderers has in common.

The common link between all these shooters is they are/were all mentally damaged, either by some actual physical defect, or psychological condition.

I get out very little, and I play CoD, Dark Souls, Battlefield 3, and a bunch of other games a lot. And by a lot I mean if I'm not working you can usually find me online. You won't find me shooting people, or running around with a sword hacking people up. Yes some people are more easily influenced than others, but placing the blame on video games, or even the negative media that we see everyday is wrong and misguided. These people who commit these horrible things usually have really bad mental problems, which for some reason was ignored and untreated.
That being said I will agree with some that there is a problem with guns in America. Not in the sense that there are too many and that they are too easy to get, only because if we start banning them then the only ones who will have then are those that don't care for the laws anyway. But because it seems we Americans have gotten complacent with our firearms. These things are weapons and should be treated at such. When not being used by the proper owner, they should be locked up and rendered safe (ammo removed, slide in the locked back position and such). And the devices that are used to lock them should be secure themselves. If everyone has the key it's like it wasn't even locked up in the first place. My pistol right now, even though I am the only one in my house is in it's safe with a 6 digit passcode that only I know.
We have to treat guns with more caution, simple as that.

Think about the way the game is actually made, 5 minute matches, killing, respawning its all very repetitive. I have noticed my friends that game more than five hours a day need less sleep regardless of excersize. I made the connection that they could be hypnotized a long time ago. People who are hypnotized often claim to wake up refreshed feeling like they just napped, many people describe the games as refreshing and fun.

Its just probability that not everyone who plays goes crazy. If there are lets say two million people who play a given game more than 12 hours a day every day, long enough for the effects of hypnotism to be noticeable in anyone. If there is a one in five million chance of being so succeptible to hypnotism that the game is effective. Chances are, nothing will happen. The games can't be THAT powerful, that every single person who plays goes crazy instantly, it has to be fine tuned to look harmless.

Remember the Disney channel original movie "Up, Up, and Away"? These "earth protector" people give out hypnotism CD's at school. Stupid movie, but it reminded me of this.

There as always been those who blame the ill's of society on whatever is relevant to a generation of young people at the time...off the top of my head, comics, rock and roll music in the 50's, television, role-playing board games etc....just so happens that video games is the "thing" for our generation of young people. Though just to add it's still my "thing" and I'm 41!

I changed / clarified my post. I really think i got off in a tangent. I really am trying to keep to a specific point and cut out the Illuminati or powers to be doing this, that's silly imo. I got swept up in the ATSness.

If the internet was a reflection of the outside world then I would be able to walk up to people and say hi like I do here but I can't, people in the outside world scare the crap out of me and i can't talk to them at all.
