Phage, you are being really stubborn and ignorant right now

Stubborn maybe. Ignorant, not so much. Remember, you're the one who said:

Mind you, unlike Americans, Canadians really don't fly Chinese Lanterns....especially here in BC

Moving forward, here is something related to this article suggesting we have been visited often:
Why do think it's related? A month old and the description is nothing like that of the sighting in the OP.

edit on 12/20/2012 by Phage because: (no reason given)

Later in the day for Monday December 17, 2012 had a forecast with a chance of clearance:

Morning Forecast
www.globaltvbc.com...

Evening Forecast
www.globaltvbc.com...

Both indicate it wasn't raining in the evening...just the overnight portion.

My point is that there are more orb/strange light sightings than lantern sightings....that's my point Phage.

My point is that people very, very often misidentify sky lanterns as "orbs".

The sky in the video is too bright to have been taken at 9:40 pm in B.C. in December.

Good observation

Hence why I said it was a related video to help explain the lights seen in the night sky.

I would say this would be a better video captured August 2012 in Victoria, BC

By the way, crafts keep being called orbs because at night time they are covered by lights, usually reddish, though sometimes different colors or change colors like in the Vernon lights or Okanagan videos, which I have a thread on. But, typically if seen down low, are about 30 feet, I'd give a common 20-40 foot radius in many accounts, the ones that fly 50-100 feet overhead or up to the height of low flying airplanes, and at that height overhead, you can compare them with the airplanes that fly over. They're not orbs at all.

If they're really high, they could be satellites. Of course there is also small meteors at times that fly by. There are black op vehicles as well. But, when they're low and crafts your only question is, are they ours or theirs?
