You seem to understand the situation. At this point the US had won.

Just like the German Jet Aircraft...too little too late. By 1945 the U.S. has built the largest Naval Fleet in the History of Man. Even if the Japanese had 500 of these subs...it would not have been enough.

Could be nasty if caugh out in the open and would make a area of a city uninhapitable from the spores. Buts its pain to keep cultures alive and its not great at person to person tranmission though good for area denial because of its spores that are a nightmare to get rid of.

The only real city destroyer would be anthrax. But if the Japs had delpoyed this the USA would of nuked Japan into oblivion with a gasing from the UK for good measure.

I doubt bombing the US mainland would of turned the tide of war. Just piss everyone off more and unit everyone even more, like the UK in the blitz.
