Neighbor who took in 6 children (Sandy Hook) is an actor!

Gene Rosen the 62 year old who supposedly took in 6 children from sandy hook elementary is an actor. Before you all tear me a new one, hear me out. His interview is bad acting, his story is made to give you "what a hero." I looked into this mans background and what did I find? He is an actor ' is on the screen actors guild in Veijo, Ca. (Intelius search) showed this. I'm on my iPhone so if someone can post a screen shot/link much appreciated.

What do you all take of this. Bad acting, or honorable Hero???
