A planet with conditions that could support life orbits a twin neighbour of the sun visible to the naked eye, scientists have revealed. The world is one of five thought to be circling Tau Ceti, a star just 12 light years away that is almost identical to the sun.

This discovery is in keeping with our emerging view that virtually every star has planets, and that the galaxy must have many such potentially habitable Earth-sized planets. They are everywhere, even right next door

As we stare at the night sky, it is worth contemplating that there may well be more planets out there than there are stars, some fraction of which may well be habitable

Tau Ceti planets are estimated to be 2 - 6 times bigger than Earth . One of them [ 5 times the mass of the Earth ] lies in the star's habitable zone [ Also called Goldilocks zone - which is neither too hot nor too cold to allow liquid surface water and potentially , life ]

It is very possible that Alien life may have already flourished in this planet , some of them more advanced than us. A few years back , a former MI6 agent had revealed that Aliens from Tau Ceti have already visited the planet Earth . He said aliens from Pleiades, Andromeda, Lyra, Procyon, Tau Ceti, Sirius A, and Ummo form a Protective federation . They are benevolent ET's . They have helped us in the past, are helping us now and will help us in the future. What do say ?
