Here is a short interview with Yuri Bezmenov , a former KGB informant from the Soviet Union who defected to Canada . He is best remembered for his pro-American, anticommunist lectures and books from the 1980s . This interview was done by G. Edward Griffin in the early 1980's .

"You Americans are so gullible. No, you won’t accept communism outright, but we’ll keep feeding you small doses of socialism until you’ll finally wake up and find you already have communism. We won’t have to fight you. We’ll so weaken your economy until you’ll fall like overripe fruit into our hands!" --Nikita Kruschev, to Ezra Taft Benson.

Bezmenov explains how Marxist ideology is deconstructing America's values, destabilizing the economy, and provoking crises . He points out the Four Stages of Ideological Subversion :

- Stage 1 — Demoralization
- Stage 2 — Destabilization
- Stage 3 — Crisis
- Stage 4 — Normalization

Watch the interview Here :

VIDEO TRANSCRIPT : Link

Ideological subversion is the process which is legitimate, overt and open -- you can see it with your own eyes. All you have to do -- all American mass media has to do is to unplug their bananas from their ears, open up their eyes, and they can see. There is no mystery. There's nothing to do with espionage.

There are also reports which suggest Obama is a communist KGB Agent [ SOURCE ]

A Russian government official bragged that Barack Obama was a KGB operative and that his presidency had been planned since birth, an American physicist and government contractor reports.

Tom Fife, an American computer networking specialist and international businessman, reported the alarming facts about the Kremlin’s connection to Barack Obama. The boast from a Communist Party official reportedly occurred during a business trip to Russia, 16 years before Barack Obama was ushered into the presidency of the United States.

Can This be True ? Is America really on a road to Communism ? I presume , It is

It's doubtful.
While there will always be some socialist reforms and programs, raising the communism flag is alarmist fear mongering.

What's funny about the Nikita Kruschev quote you use is that was said before the fall of the Soviet Union, with bravado while USSR wasn't exactly in the best of economic standings itself.

Now, Russia is a capitalist nation.
It still has many socialist programs with medicine, and education, but, they're finding a balance.

USA is attempting to do the same; find a balance. We've seen that ultra-communism doesn't work on a nationwide scale. Ultra-capitalism won't work either.
Finding a mixed balance is the way to go, but, in the US, there's all these alarmist fear mongers that make out of proportion noises when anything they even think has a whiff of socialism to is proposed.

Our public education system is a Socialist program.
What's Social Security?

Lots of good can come out of Socialist programs, and, for the most part, they're voluntary.
You can send your children to a private school if you want.

If medical care is completely Socialized, you'll certainly have the option to go to pay-care facilities.

Besides that, Oil, Pharma, Media, Entertainment, Private Military Industrial, Technology, and many other privately owned big $$$ interests would leave the US like a sinking ship, causing it to sink faster in the rush of money, technology, and brains taking flight out of country if there was any concern over the US going Communist.

Capitalism is a mathematical nightmare. Money does not grow more money. It's a retarded scheme but it's made a few people filthy rich. Every scheme up until this point has fatal flaws but if you have faith in mankind then you should have faith a better system can be built.... whatever the hell you want to call it.

Work is what has value. America has too many chiefs and not enough Indians and this system is going to fall.

SOMETHING will take it's place.

It could be communism, it could be socialism... it could be a tyrannical dictator. It could be straight up fear that puts you behind a gun and tells you communists are coming to get you... even though they haven't exactly hit out shores and burned our cities yet. If they buy us out, at least it's not blatant rape and murder.

The real question is would you kill to not be socialists if your system is broken?... and it is.

Would you asked to be killed to not be communists? Or would you like another option?

If you want to be a democracy, you might want to prove it works.
If capitalism and so called democracy are replaced by communism/socialism.... you'll know it's because somebody screwed up and democracy didn't work.

Your personal feelings or beliefs about a duly elected political official, especially if you're going to start fear factoring things out of proportion, don't appear to be all that accurate.

What is it with Obama anyway?
The guy should go into Hollywood movies after his term is up with all the stories:
Obama is a reptilian?
Obama was a radical Muslim?
Obama, using the name Barry, was a time traveler star gate program participant?
Obama is gay?
Obama is a Communist?

Is that what this is all about? You just don't like Obama?
Wait 4 years, and someone else will be in office that you can salute or demonize with just as much zeal.

As for Communism, or, just Socialism, I for one think the US could use quite a bit more of it.
Not in totality, but, more of it.

What's funny, if guns and ammo were Communist-ized, it'd mean free guns and ammo evenly distributed to everyone. I wonder how many people that freak out over communism, or even just socialism would say no to free guns and ammo?
What about beer and bacon? Free beer and bacon allowances for everyone?

Vladimir Putin himself is calling Obama a Communist, I'm no fan of Putin, but in this case he is not lying.

Distribution of Wealth = Road to Communism

en.wikipedia.org...

Communism arose as a reaction to a distribution of wealth in which a few lived in luxury while the masses lived in extreme poverty. In The Communist Manifesto Marx and Engels wrote "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need." While the ideas of Marx have been embraced by various states (Russia, Cuba, Vietnam and China in the 20th century), Marxist utopia remains elusive.

The enemies of the US only need to sit back and watch as our weak economy destroys us, like the great Roman Empire, we too will fall.

The Simpsons makes fun of the fiscal cliff, sarcastically mocks those who are afraid of distribution of wealth, communism, the internal destruction of the US economy.

www.youtube.com...

The writers/directors at the Simpsons are so far up the asses of the hollywood elite, using their own characters, their perspective on the world is cut off, out of touch, Mr. Burns is the character these Simpsons writers/directors are most similar to, yet they want us to think they are Homer Simpson.

The writers/directors at the Simpsons are this & Obama supporters are this...

No it's not, and there was a thread on this not too long ago.

We're heading towards a world economy dominated by a few capitalist owners. "Big Brother" is implemented by the state but it's done for the interest of the capitalist class. Everything the government does is because someone has asked them to, and those with the most money get what they ask for. Those of us who are not millionaires don't even get in to ask.

God I hope so because Capitalism is killing us.

But I don't think we will EVER start looking after each other as if we were a COMMUNITY -
And so I think it is a little early to get your panties in a wad for fear over any kind of "communal" sentiment.

Poster above is correct - We are creating a nice little Oligarchy here but nobody seems very afraid.

Trust me - Communism would be better.

No.
It's hilarious to see that anyone could even think such.

Do you read about ANY policy maker saying no to Corporate America?
Do you read about ANY policy maker naming toxic corporations and calling for them to be dissolved?
No. Which is a clear signal, or ought to be, that our version of Capitalism (aka Corporatism, Fascism, Oligarchy) will remain.

In fact the recent rash of union busting and States adopting Right to Work Laws ought to be an even clearer signal. It isn't encroaching Communism that should be being feared but encroaching Fascism.

A slow "progressive" path to communism; statist collectivism to be followed at the end by either a revolution (less likely) or take over (and re-education of the masses). The "re-education" process will lead to the elimination of those who do not go along with it. A declaration of Martial Law would be the best time to institute it as the President (dictator in chief) can not be impeached since the Congress would be restricted from ending it for 6 months....and if the crisis that precipitated the declaration of Martial Law was a bombing of the Capital (read "Reichstag") with the Congress in session then there would effectively be no federal legislative branch.

But that would not be communism.

You are all still under the impression that communism is what happened in the USSR. Well it wasn't. Communism is an economic system, mainly, and the USSR did not have a communist economy. They had a state-capitalist economy.

Communism is the same as socialism, and for an economy to be socialist the workers must own the means of production. It also does not require government, thus cannot be totalitarianism. If the workers own the means of production it would stop anyone becoming powerful enough, through economic inequality, to be able to manipulate and control the state to their own interests. Thus we the people would have far more power ourselves against the state.

Now the state works on capitalist principles, for capitalist interests, simply because capitalists have the money to influence policy. Totalitarianism requires a very wealthy state, and a very poor population. The capitalist class are the state.

"Anarchism is stateless socialism" - Mikhail Bakunin

The term “State Capitalism” is frequently used in two different ways: first, as an economic form in which the state performs the role of the capitalist employer, exploiting the workers in the interest of the state. The federal mail system or a state-owned railway are examples of this kind of state capitalism. In Russia, this form of state capitalism predominates in industry : the work is planned, financed and managed by the state; the directors of industry are appointed by the state and profits are considered the income of the state. Second, we find that a condition is defined as state capitalism (or state socialism) under which capitalist enterprises are controlled by the state. This definition is misleading, however, as there still exists under these conditions capitalism in the form of private ownership, although the owner of an enterprise is no longer the sole master, his power being restricted so long as some sort of social insurance system for the workers is accepted.

State Capitalism and Dictatorship

Also known as state-socialism, state-capitalism is the correct term, because capitalism means private ownership, socialism means common ownership (by workers).

If the economy is privately owned by individuals, or organizations, then it is capitalism. To be communism/socialism the economy must be owned in common by those who work.

No. The USA isn't on the road to communism.

It is quite far down the road to Corporate Nationalism and a Banana Republic. That is where it is undoubtedly going.

Both China and the USA are converging on this same position. The USA from the capitalist republic and China from the Totalitarian State Capitalism.

Except China does not have a communist state. In fact "communist state" is an oxymoron.

Communism, before the term was appropriated by people seeking state power, was a working class movement for a stateless nation with worker ownership of the means of production.

Communism (from Latin communis - common, universal) is a revolutionary socialist movement to create a classless, moneyless, and stateless social order structured upon common ownership of the means of production, as well as a social, political and economic ideology that aims at the establishment of this social order.[1]

I take your point. How would you appropriately describe the Chinese state prior to Dengs reforms taking hold? I am happy to edit for clarity.

state capitalism
noun
a form of capitalism in which the central government controls most of the capital, industry, natural resources, etc.

dictionary.reference.com...

It has been inappropriately called communism/socialism for political reasons.

Soviets did not have communism either, it was a dictatorship that fell apart when the heirs of that dictatorship tried to reform it into the communism they were told about.

To become rich you have to make money. Typically the richer somebody becomes the more money he keeps out of the system AND passes on to his children. The higher the average profit margins of operations the more money is taken faster out of circulation which needs to be replaced. Thats where you get inflation, which in essense is a form of communism, for it effects everyones money equally.

Just because something is equal it doesn't make it communism.

Equality is just a result of the means of production being owned in common, instead of by a few private owners.

It's not like communism is equality no matter what. In fact nothing can ever be truly equal. The aim of communism/socialism is the end of capitalism, and the means of production owned in common by those who work. It doesn't create complete equality, it just makes the economy more equal, because no one has the advantage of a monopoly of ownership of the means to produce.

The short answer, they are working on it, and a certain someone in a High Place is almost certainly an agent provocateur. We just call it the NWO now, but it's all the same thing, the Totalitarian One World Utopian society. The Soviet version of communism may have fallen, but the NWO agents work on furiously, day and night, night and day to achieve their goals.
I'd say we are somewhere between stage 2 and 3. It's not too late if enough people wake from their sleepy slumbers and quit with the silly "communism is dead", "russia's version wasn't really communism", "you sound like McCarthy", "don't be silly, you just don't know what communism is", etc ad nauseum.
