You are absolutely right! The weight alone of the tactical vest, magazines, ammunition, and weapon would impede his movement. Not to mention his slight build. Thank you for mentioning something I was thinking.

I'm going to see if I can find the video of the lady saying ryan was standing next to her and said he didn't do it...I'm not that computer savy so bear with me...and I have to head to work now...but I'll look through out the day and see what I can find. Maybe she was in NJ ? But I'm pretty sure it was within all the caos at the school when interviewing people. ...

It seems pretty obvious that Lanza was killed and planted at the scene to make it appear as if he was the culprit.

Right.................................... Seems that ~EVERY time this sort of thing happens it is due to a conspiracy.... Never due to a nutter. But I DO think this will be manipulated by the powers that be for gun control.

You must be kidding right? If not I would imagine you need pysch help.

Judging by the two dozen stars it appears more than a few ATSers agree with the statement you find so incredible.

.223/5.56 are interchangeable if the upper has the appropriate chamber and bore. Most AR variants sold today can shoot both rounds without issue as that is industry standard. Because caliber must be machined on the lowers of ARs, a machining of ".223/5.56" or ".223-5.56MM" is usually the norm, Meaning I can just as easily shoot .223 FMJ from joe schmoe gun shop as I can 5.56 Nato Ball (FMJ), penetrator (Steel core), through tracer.

I do own and regularly shoot a Bushmaster M4. As the AR in question is a Bushmaster it can shoot both .223 and 5.56.

Friday night, I heard about this on the radio as it was happening, I live in the UK and the BBC was reporting two gunmen, one already dead, one still on the loose, but at the same time that they held the conference at the school? Correct me if I'm wrong.
Our media placed a lot of empthasis on the fact he was a "Goth loner"

Just to clarify for the ones who are extremely unfamiliar with firearms:

Not only would she have to submit to a full and comprehensive background check conducted by the DOJ, fingerprinting, local law enforcement approval, a $200 tax, and a 3-6 month waiting period... a legal M16 costs 10-15,000 dollars. No, that is not a mistake... after going through all the legal channels, a legal fully-automatic M16 costs 10-15 grand.

I don't want people thinking that it's easy or cheap to own legal fully automatic weapons.

To ILLEGALY modify a semi-automatic AR-15 to fire fully automatic, it requires drilling holes in the receiver in just the right spot, which would require an experienced person with the right equipment (not just any Joe Schmo with a cordless drill can perform this modification.) Then one would have to purchase the correct parts, which requires a pretty advanced knowledge of the systems on an AR-15. I know many AR-15 enthusiasts who wouldn't have the first clue how to modify the rifle to fully automatic... it's definitely not a drop-in modification.

How about something like one of those things that attach to a trigger that has a rotating handle you turn to fire the gun faster than you could by pulling the trigger? The faster you turn it the faster it shoots the one i saw was homemade and each full rotation would pull the trigger 4 times. When he shot it and emptied a clip it was just like a full automatic. I am not sure about CT. but I think these types things are legal in lots of states because I have saw them for sale on gun websites as well as at gun shows. They attach and in seconds and can be removed just as fast.

Far better are the slide action stocks. They cause the weapon to recoil against your finger holding steady against the trigger, replicating "automatic" fire. Very cool.

If it was full auto they would not tell us because those are mostly illegal and they want to make sure people think this was done with a weapon you could buy in any gun store. If it was full auto what would their plan be, to ban weapons that are already banned? I wouldn't put it passed them to do that in order to futher their agenda.

But IMO I think it was semi auto, with the shots per victim talked about here by the OP it seems to be semi. With a full auto I think he would have missed a lot more of those shots. There reason we changed the M16 to semi in the Military is because soldiers where wasting ammo and running out usually from panic and squeezing the trigger and holding it thus wasting rounds and having to reload more often and that leads to being hit yourself as you reload. That's what I was led to believe in the Army and it makes sense. You are more accurate with a semi auto, most people anyway. It's weird to say but it think I would rather be fired at with full auto AKs like I was overseas than semi, controls burst which seem to be more deadly. That's just my opinion and they also seems to be horrible shots in Iraq, if they missed you with the first round the next 5-10 seemed to be even farther from hitting me.

I think a lot of you red to much into things like this. Not everything is a government cover up or aliens, man. If I had to pick a crazy theory I would say maybe these recent shooting where done with some sort of control over the shooters to make them do that and then off themselves to tie loose ends. More than likely this was just done by a twisted kid who wanted to one up the last big shooting which is why I thinki we should not make such a huge deal about this. Sounds mean but the media is making these people, in their minds, famous and if you're going to off youself why not be the last guys record and be remember forever. Does anyone know a single name of one victim? Know, we just know the shooters giving them exactly what they want, to leave a legacy of carnage. More children have died in the time it has taken me to write this from not having clean water or vaccines. Why does no one care about that?

You will never stop bad people from doing horrible things. It's not videogames or films or music. It's not even the parents. It's the chemical inbalance in these folks heads. And the mental health card only works so far. This kid knew right from wrong. If he can drive a car and go to the range, he is not mentally challenged.

The US government has killed more children this week than all these shooting combined, most not American so I guess that's ok.

What about the dozens of time a man with a carry permit has prevented things like this from happening? You ever hear about those in the MSM? The simple truth is guns have saved more lives than taken by citizens. That is a fact. I don't even see how you can argue this?
I'm at the point where I don't really give a # anymore about any of this. You can't control it, the machine has all this # down to a science by know and until someone hits the reset button we're doomed. Land of the Free, what a joke. You can't even choose not to wear your seatbelt with out going to jail. Why? You can't buy pot but you can by and drink draino. You can't even vote of own a friearm if you have a drug charge but Presidents can take office after admitting to doing drugs.

I have an above top secret clearance for my MOS in the Army and after learning things during my time enlisted I am sure that most people wouldn't believe and after you learn certain things there is no closing you eyes to it. America is dead, The United States is a different beast and not a country but a corporation and a badly run one at that.
That Flight 93 film was what really pushed me over the edge. I hate to say it but America is full of folks who are, for the lack of a better word, idiots and will believe anything on the news, unable to see what's really going on. Or worse those how do know and do nothing.

Would of advise, hide you guns, legal or not. The Founding Father new this could happen, govs overstepping their rights and they prepared for it. It's your fault as American for letting them do this. In case you forgot they work for you, not the other way around. They slowly chip away your rights because if they did everything they wanted in a short time the fear people would do something. The sad thing is the people have and probably will continue to do nothing but bitch. You need to realize you the people have the power. Next time these wackos shooting schools aim at something that might help the World. The Westboro Church, crooked politicians and many other deserve to be shot, not children. Thomas Jefferson saw this so long ago and they even planned for this, hence the 2nd Amendment. American fled the Britain only to follow their same MO.

I have bought many AK's online from $85-$120 that came full auto, right to my door. I converted them to semi because they are more effective but they were very easy to get btw. I know this is messed up to say but there will come a time where all these poor, misguides people will wish they had supported gun laws. If you don't like our constitution, which has been twisted to serve the govs agenda a ton already, then move somewhere else. People came to America to be free. If you don't like freedom, move. How many guns were used in the OK City bombing? Zero. The fact is the Founding Father were, as a collective, smarted and had more foresight that any politician living today with a few exceptions. Ron Paul is a perfect example of this, he is a Founding Father reincarnate and blacked out by the media that should clue you in on how much the gov has you best interest in mind. If you think it's bad now give it time. Laws get more restrictive, they rarely lax. Imagine life in 10 years from now. Scary and the reason I refuse to have children. It's seems almost a crime to bring someone into this mad world.

Man I bet the gov regrets making the internet. Imagine how many more idiots there would be if you could only get news from word of mouth or the MSM. I can't wait to move back out of the States, should have never returned. The # I could tell you from working in the WH and in the Army would make you throw up. I can't even sleep with all this knowledge weighing me down everyday. I there are Aliens I am sure they passed on ever getting involved with this planet. They a probably just waiting to we destroy ourselves before the will come here. And if there is a God I'm sure he wish he had aborted us. If you ever wanna know about Flight 93, hit me up. I have recorded many transmissions that would make you sick. And if you're listening to me PTB, come find me, I dare you. You didn't scare me before and you won't again. I have nothing left to lose in this life and know one day you will all be held accountable for what you've done.

Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to restock on ammo and maybe pick up a new Sig Commando today. Yeah me.

I would have to say the odds of this woman and son legally securing a fully automatic bushmaster is highly unlikely. However it isn't out of reach for people to get. You do have to jump through a lot of hoops with the feds and pay out oodles of money.

As an example a plain Jane bushmaster semi auto will cost you around 850-1200 maybe more. A fully auto would cost you like 10-20k or more. Not including the license fees and tax stamps, cost of shipment to a federal dealer to secure the rifle. In my opinion paying that much for a full auto is insane. You can get a crate of rifles for that money spent and arm 10 men in your neighborhood for that money, which is way more deadly then any one full auto if shtf. Really IMO a full auto is pointless. You give away your position, you dirty your weapon more, more jam ups and things to go wrong with your rifle in the field, you spend more rounds limiting your stash, more cumbersome to pack around more bullets. When you start adding up the pro's/con's you will clearly see it makes no sense. Now full auto for the higher cal the miniguns now that makes more sense to shoot incoming missle or take out armored vehicles a situation where you need more lead down range.

I keep going back to the fact he shot his mom in the face THREE times. I know he probably had a lot of anger towards her, but if that's the case why'd he stop after three? Why were all the victims shot at least three times?

I'd be willing to bet that that rifle was an auto with a three round burst setting.

That's assuming they did everything legally, Adam was the shooter, and the rifle in question was the one used in the shooting. As far as I know you can have receivers machined. Isn't there the possibility of a black market for them?

Sorry, I'm having a hard time following this ever-changing story.

I thought two pistols were used in the attack and that the AR was recovered from his vehicle. At least that was the story reported.

It certainly looks that way, but with the info being withheld you can't be certain. If it is full auto there is even more deeper questions. However, shooting 3 rounds from a semi isn't that hard. It's hard to say what's going through his mind maybe he thought 3 rounds per person to make sure they are dead. A 60 round clip that's 20 people with 3 rounds each. I can't imagine anything being left after one bullet to the head. What a gruesome scene. The guy was like a programmed terminator. Sad

Since when do sociopaths need a motive?

Jeffry Dahmer didn't need a motive.

It is really a silly reason. The psychopathic brain doesn't work the way a normal brain does. He has created some grievance in his mind, he hated the world for being against him, and he targeted the most vulnerable population for the greatest effect to show his anger.
Emphasis mine

I grew up with a mentally disturbed older brother.

He's highly functional, very intelligent and violent. As kids he was at me 24/7 but when I was 14/15 he lost interest. At first I was relieved but it soon became apparent he was targeting my friends.

I tried to warn them but he "seems so normal" was the typical response. They'd fall victim and our friendship would end abruptly.

At first I didn't see the pattern. I blamed my friends for not listening to me but soon realized our family was lending him credibility. People trusted him because we appeared so "normal." I had to completely separate myself from him/my family to keep my kids/friends safe.

Our mom's biggest concern was that society see my brother as normal. Whether he was or not was never an issue.

Most families simply aren't qualified to deal with such violence/sickness. The violence comes out of nowhere, when least expected. My brother is smart there's a method to his madness that serves only him.

You have to know people very well before giving them access to your life...assume nothing, appearances mean nothing. Violence, for my brother, is always more satisfying after he's gained a person's trust. I suspect it's part of his sickness.

I read that the weapon recovered from the trunk was a semi auto shotgun, but that's probably gone through several revisions as well.

youtu.be...youtu.be...

Came across this snippet of a news recording, where the dad is talking about his murdered child. Before he gets on the mic, he is seen laughing and joking. NO PARENT WHOSE KID JUST GOT MURDERED CAN DO THIS!!! I don't care what anyone says.

THIS should go VIRAL.
