It's possible. I mean, wtf do we really even know? Is gravity a function of energy or is it a force upon energy? If it's some unseen force upon energy, then there's obviously something unseen out there. It could be that some stuff, in a parallel dimension, runs concurrently within our dimension. Maybe all the different stuff in our dimension is stuff from other dimensions, but because we can see it, or act upon it, we think of it as something that belongs exclusively to our dimension.

Of course dimensions are connected, unless you are a one dimensional entity. That would be pretty unique, I inhabit the first four, how about you?

Yes, I understand what you are saying. The weirdest thing I have observed are other people around me turning from a light into a human. At first this made me second guess what I was seeing. I have also noticed other humans moving around more quickly. I mean they are there one minute and gone the next. I have noticed small lights moving from human to human and even from car to car. I have noticed Time being affected such as stopping or going faster. I have had many time lapses, and lost an entire 24 hours at Sunset Harbor near Long Beach NC this past Summer. I went to sleep on a Friday night at the Beach house and my boyfriend and his son were out fishing. I woke up and my boyfriend and his son were back and told me it was Sunday. I know it was suppose to be Saturday. My point something really strange is going on! I have been going through this for 6 years and have basically just learned how to ignore it. My opinion based on what has happen to me- Aliens. There is really nothing we can do about it. Amy in NC

1d,2d,3d,4d,etc are geometric measurements. I don't think they're the dimensions the op is referring to.
