I've not even read any replies yet, but the 2nd Amendment is about keeping us safe from far reaching gov'ts lead by a despot.

That, and the hunting argument...so tired....plenty of people (myself included) have and do hunt with AR's...these aren't the menacing weapons clueless people would like to believe them to be.
