Are you proud of the person you have been?

Truth/honesty, understanding/forgiveness, and kindness/love are the keys through which I move events in my life. The person I was in the past was vile, ego driven, hateful, angry, alone, and more than anything terrified with myself. He has long since shed himself and the person I am today lives by a code of universal harmony. I give of myself so that I may repay this gift called life.

Am I proud of my life? No, I would not be proud if I achieved stopping world hunger... pride is ego based... am I happy? Yes beyond measure
