I try to see this in logical terms. Not to be callus but, If an outside entity (Country) had ambitions of invading the US, the biggest obstacle beyond our military, is our well armed citizenry. How better to disarm than to stage events (killings) such as the horrific killings of the last couple years. There have a few very high profile assaults, and each time, the cry goes up to Disarm the US from within, repeal the second amendment or somehow neutralize it and confiscate all the guns citizens own. Is this a long term plan to disarm the citizenry in favor of an aggressor? Then not only would the citizenry be disarmed, but could also be used as human shields and hostages further complicating and reducing the military's effectiveness.
So could an outside entity secretly be authoring these attacks?

You just described the sole underlying strategy behind Hamas, they provoke the Israelis to attack, and make sure that any retaliatory strikes will provide them propaganda opportunities to exploit.

It only takes a few images of carnage and death, extremely graphic videos and images of children killed by Israeli strikes, in the recent conflict in Gaza some of it aired at times on U.S. cable TV news.

The Israelis were forced to agree to a ceasefire and stand down because of growing condemnation and international pressure.

It is a very effective strategy.

As for Iran blaming the school shooting on Israel, why wouldn't they?
