I found the image on Rex Features. It might be the original. However you have to sign up or something I can't do that from work.

Rex Features UFO Photo

I see that says 7th December, so there is a date problem, from somewhere since It is the same picture.

Actually the date would be correct, Friday the 7th. as the Telegraph states in the story.

Those space ship could be expensive! Or might just be alien just holding one to it's favorite ship! Then again, might be galactic wide recession we have been in for a while. For the alien's shake hope that alien ship doesn't crash here not good. We got good probing tools too!

This is a hoax and fake as I just thought to myself "that ufo looks very familiar!". I can put the exact same ufo in pictures taken with my Droid X with the app called Camera360. The effect is called "2012" and it has a couple different effects including dark clouds and lightning and this ufo.

Here's a pic I added the ufo to using Camera360.
Only thing I did to the pic was add the ufo in Camera 360 and resize in GIMP.

DEBUNKED.

I don't know why I bothered getting excited about this picture.

As soon as I saw the zoomed in version, there's obviously a rectangular artifact around it from the insertion of the "UFO". Boooooo!

Multiple pictures of the same UFO might be something. Even better, why take a still picture when you could video tape it?

Now take that phone app...go to your nearest airline company....climb about their jet...take a picture using this app...and let's further compare.

Nice work on debunking using actual technology....who ever said you needed the original photo!

Phage...I want your response on this please.

Yes, but did you grab the picture, or is it part of the camera 360 inventory?

nice job man....it seems as though this photo is a fake. Nice job Thrace. Annoys me that this Larry guy would make up such a story about the multiple witnesses/photos. Oh well. Awesome job breaking down the photograph team. You all just reminded me why I love this site! Thanks!

Oh and its an honor to have Phage post in a thread of mine
Always respected ya man ever since I joined here in 08'

it takes about 1.5 seconds to work out it's fake. It just looks wrong, the lighting does not look correct, also the picture is stereotypically grainy like he took it with a potato. Most people don't use potatoes any more and with the level of lighting that was available outside and in, the amount of grain on your average modern camera phone should be at a minimum. Unless he took it with the video setting in which case it MAY have that much grain, but why not post the video then in that case?

i'm not saying it's fake, but it's fake.

The ufo is an effect that you can insert into any photo using Camera 360. It has a couple other ufo's too...

You guys are awesome.
Is it worth defacing your second faked picture used to prove the first fake so it doesn't get used deliberately as a UFO fake?
(you know what I mean)
