Why is it that it's always the gun free zones that are always targeted?

Now the usual suspects (AKA MSM) are out pushing for stricter gun laws, the Pavlovian useful idiot lapdogs are now sitting pretty, begging for their treat.

The tragedy in Connecticut could have been avoided or at the very least, minimized, if only the teachers were allowed to carry.

BTW, have you checked out your local gun range?
Well if you haven't, you should.
That's now where the in-crowd hangs out.
Those places are jam packed, always busy and always full, now that Obama has been voted
The Top Firearms Saleman of the Year for several years straight.

Since I'm sure no crazy lunatic will ever consider going postal at a gun range, they can now also be considered the safest places one could ever find.

Oh,yes,I go to the local gun range and I'm amazed by the types of guns fired there.
They have machine gun days there also.
I just go there to take my 11 year old son to practice shooting his little 22 rifle for practice.

Alexandro,

This is totally off topic but I think you'd appreciate this post.

Here in Grand Rapids, MI we have a large indoor gun range that is attached to a shop. It's called Silver bullet firearms. Anyway, over the last three years or so. Two law abiding citizens have walked in there to shoot the rental guns. And chose to instead blow their brains out inside the range.

This has caused a stir by the "pavlovian lap dogs" that you speak of and is quite sickening.

TPTB will use WHATEVER measures in order to acheive their goal. Lets us all never forget that. At the local level on up to the feds. Watch out for those that would destroy their own nation in the name of safety and righteousness!

Star for you... Love the post...

Funny thing about all of this.

The 2nd Amendment was put in place to limit a tyrannical government.

Now? Healthcare is now a "right" (brought to you by government) and gun ownership shouldn't be?

Banning forks to stop over-eating will not work.

Makes sense. I open Carry to and from the ranges here in NC. Everyone is polite, well mannered, and jovial. It is almost like a Heinlein novel... Sniffle... as I wipe the tear from my eye as to what it could be.

You would rather have guns than healthcare? are you kidding? because you can't be serious.

In a first world country like yours, of course healthcare should be a right.

I dont know why so many Americans are against healthcare- meh, just look after yourself right?

The last time I checked, the 2nd Amendment was written by the founding fathers.

Guess I just missed the part about whiny entitlement people wanting me to pay for their healthcare.

yeah, that was written a long time ago- Im pretty sure it didnt mean every American can have fully automatic weapon/s to go blow people up with.

You want to talk about whining- what I have heard since last friday on my news? Americans whinging and whining and crying over yet another school shooting. puh- lease- why act so surprised and hard done by?

That is what is wrong with your country- amongst a lot of other things, noone cares about each other- noone wants to help anyone else. you all just want to help yourselves and # everyone else.

they need to paint "also a gun range" on every school sign, every hospital sign, and every chruch and theatre sign. Everyone will be safe forever. No need to thank me.

Gun Free Zone = A maniacs playground.

A single armed security guard could have prevented this!

In this world we will always have nut jobs and the best option is to be prepared by having guards at schools and other "soft targets"! We guard banks, but not our children! At least once a week a kid is taken and tortured to death by some nut job. How many kids must die before we accept that we must guard against such attacks? Even if the kid had not been able to get guns he could have done just as much damage or more using other means. Thank God he didn't walk in with a homemade flame thrower or similar. Thank God he didn't take his time and level the place with explosives etc... What if "What if" he had just walked in and started kicking down doors and tossed homemade grenades/pipe bombs in?

There is only one way to stop a person bent on killing others and himself, and this by direct confrontation. The only answer is to guard the children!

Common sense seems to be missing in Americas politics. Instead of meaninful change we will instead be surrendering our guns to a goverment which has killed thousands of children in Iraq etc.. If you trust a system which is for sale to the party willing to spend the most to always have your best interests at heart, then you are a fool! I wonder how many Jews trusted that Germany would always have their best interests at heart?

To sit and pretend that a gun ban is to safe guard children is complete nonsense! It is to further a tyranical agenda!

We Americans are guaranteed certain inalienable rights by our constitution/founding laws.

In the last decade or so power grabs have been made and some of these rights have been stripped away. America is corrupt to the core, but our constitutional rights are supposed to be inalienable rights meaning none have the right to change the laws guaranteed by it etc.. A tyrannical America is a danger to the whole of the world and a well armed American public is all that keeps it in check..

We don't have an armed struggle our constitution/law says that we should be well armed to meet any possible tyranny head on etc.. What would the outcome in Nazi Germany have been if the Jews had been armed to the teeth?

If we abandon the law which our country was founded on then we invite another Hitler to power etc... Elections can be bought in America friend, but at the end of the day none can trespass to far because American citizens constitute the largest armed force on the planet! Would you really like to see a helpless American public? I know that I would not want to see that!

America has killed one million+ in Iraq and how many were children? To sit and pretend that a gun ban is to safe guard children is complete nonsense! It is to further a tyranical agenda!

We are not some small nation with no real military might, our armed forces could level all of the world or least bring the entire globe to its knees! A balance of power here at home helps to keep you and your children safe!

If you trust a system which is for sale to the party willing to spend the most to always have your best interests at heart, then you are a fool! I wonder how many Jews trusted that Germany would always have their best interests at heart? Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it!

Underneath the corruption and war mongering we are a moral society. I imagine not unlike yours. We most certainly have problems as our media purports to be the voice of the American people and our elected offices go the persons willing to spend the most money etc.. We hardly have a perfect system of government and foreign and or special interest can and do control policy etc..

The real America does not have a voice, when we vote for a president it a choice between two persons who have been pre selected by corrupt systems. We do however maintain a balance of power by purchasing and keeping all the arms we can get a hold of! It is a silent trust, and it most certainly does keep tyranny in check.

I know that sounds like some more American dribble, but if Hitler had come to power here I like to think we would have taken him out pretty quickly!

I will not win any friends by saying this but here in Florida there have been two murder suicides by lunatics at gun ranges in the past year and a half. One of the ranges I go to fairly often. You can’t stop crazy. Actually the problem is craziness. Our mental health care system is the worst.

The experts say that mentally ill people are rarely violent. Mass murdering of innocents is something else, not yet identified.

Because these shooters are cowards...and well, you'll get the crap shot out of you at a gun range. Really? You need to ask. Seems obvious.
