Production of Mayan documentary "Revelations of the Mayans 2012 and Beyond" steeped in intrigue

Earlier this year this movie was supposed to be released, but then there was this huge drama of stolen film, stolen computers, stolen artifacts & false identities.

I won't go into detail of the drama here, so go to the link to get caught up.

This is to update you on what has transpired since all this drama occured.

Evidently Elisabeth Thieriot is now producing this movie under a the new title: Mayan Revelations & Hollywood Lies.

This is the 2nd name change for this movie, as the prior name was to be: "Decoding B'aqtun". The movie was set to be released on December 1st.

Though her first attempt at producing a movie of similar message was foiled, Decoding B’Aqutun is set to release in exclusive distribution on December 1. The film reveals the fascinating Mayan Prophecies on B’Aqutun—the last cycle of the Mayan calendar— which were generated based upon apocalyptic visions, tales and legends. Thieriot explains, “The film is amazing. It is an extension of what the world is facing right now—we need to create balance in our lives with nature.”

This movie would've had much more success if it would've been released MUCH BEFORE the 21st, while people have questions and peaked interest in the Mayan topic. After the date, you'll see how little people are going to care.

You are right.

Must be why they took 2012 out of the movie title. Most likely won't get released until next year and by then there will be a huge deflation of interest in the Maya.

Of course unless, they have some mind blowing artifacts

It appears that Elizabeth Theriot has won her arbitration case against Raul Julia-Levy.

Executive Producer of Documentary 'Revelations of the Mayans 2012 and Beyond' Wins Arbitration - IFTA rules documentary footage about Mayan revelations is officially registered to Elisabeth Thieriot

SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 17, 2013 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Much has been written about financier and producer Elisabeth Thieriot's battles with Raul Julia-Levy over the ownership of a documentary about the Mayans. The war is now over and the victory has gone to Thieriot as the result of an International Film and Television Association (IFTA) arbitration award. IFTA Arbitrator Gerald Phillips, after a thorough review of all the documentary and testimonial evidence presented during the arbitration proceeding, has awarded Thieriot "the right, title and interest in all footage" and ruled that Levy "is not to possess or exploit" the footage in any way.

Raul Julia-Levy, who claims to be the son of late actor Raul Julia, wished to make a film entitled "Revelations of the Mayans 2012 and Beyond."

The arbitrator, who wrote that he was the subject of an intimidation attempt by Julia-Levy during the proceedings, also knocked down one-by-one all of Julia-Levy's assertions that he was getting government assistance on the documentary beyond a permit to film.

There was no federal government order to deliver footage.

There was no proof that the governments had promised to provide security and transportation.

And certainly not last and least, there was no proof that the Mexican and Guatemalan governments were supporting the revelation of evidence about a contract between the Mayans and extraterrestrials.

As Phillips wrote, "[Julia-Levy] represented that he would produce actual artifacts, tangible proof of an agreement between the Mayans and extraterrestrials. He stated that he would produce archaeological papers, which he did. However [Theriot] testified that she later learned that they were falsified."

Raul has evidently proven himself to be the con he is. Damages will be awarded to Theiriot because of his fraud and lies.
