Thanks for the compliment Void !
but i think you just opened the gates of hell

has for the moon being a mother ship
we already suspect that there is some big alien bases on it
i have recently had the though that it could be a huge mother ship
because of the picture of SHARE that i have put in the op
its dimension of this share ship is 42*13*8 km
the moon is around 3500 - 4000km

so its matching

saved this picture a while ago .. i dont have the link anymore
but it was from a youtube video and i did a printscreen to save the image
edit on 12/16/2012 by Ben81 because: (no reason given)

So many things wrong with this. 42*13*8 km would [roughly] be the volume of the "craft".

3500 - 4000 km would be the ?????? (fill in the blank please) of the Moon? See the problem with your claim that "it's matching"?

The diameter of the Moon is about 3475 km, by the way.

Please correct me if I'm wrong but out of all the planets that have moons, 166 of moons, we're the only planet that has only one. That's enough for me to questions, why!

Of all the planets that have moons, only Jupiter has 63 moons......why?

Thank you for correcting me. I find it all very fascinating, I guess I missed my calling in life.

I really appreciate your thorough explanation.

42*13*8 .. is apx 3000km in diameter
i calculated it in a raw manner
sorry if i made a mistake somewhere
not the best in maths to calculate the diameter
has for the moon i just quickly researched its dinension on the net

this Share ship from the image is just a basic representation
of what the moon could be inside .. because i found that it looked like the moon
im not saying this ship is really the moon so its dimension is not that much important

What is your point in posting the image then? They claim the ship is covered by dust from being in space. You claim the Moon IS a mothership and now are switching to the Moon is hiding a mothership inside.

- Is a mother ship
- Mother ship inside

Whats the difference .. its the same thing !
i dont understand your point

both are covered by a heavy dust crust anyway
if you dig a bit you will probably see a metalic surface
like some posters said about the proportion of the big craters
doesnt make sense compare to the small ones
the big ones should be deeper but they look like at the same level
this ship is like a heavy armored tank .. it can stop big impact to
look the moon picture in the op .. the moon look like a swiss cheese
but with no hole .. they are destroyed on impact and the dust help to protect the haul
so the impact doesnt cause to much damage
if it was a real moon it would be missing a few chunk by now .. dont you think

grr next post that say i say the moon doesnt rotate .. im gonna nuke the moon
oh wait the government already wanted that

i know the moon rotate but NOT ON ITSELF
thats why we call his other side the dark side of the moon
hiding from earth humans telescope eyes

if the moon didnt rotate around earth
i wouldnt be able to see it each night lol

I've made this animation once, replacing the moon with a formula1 racing car. The above one is always facing the same side to the earth all the time and the other one is facing all his sides to the earth per rotation.

The one below is not rotating on itself, the first one does.

Now nuke the bastard, we want indy only!

The dimensions of the ship you posted are tiny compared to the Moon. Multiplying L*W*H roughly equates to the total volume of the ship which you then tried to say matched the diameter of the Moon. There is no valid correlation between the two. All you have shown here is that you believe such a relatively tiny ship is large enough to protect the surface of the Moon from impacts.

It's your story so you can change it if you want but it's no longer relevant to your OP. Remember when you said

dont wonder why it never rotate on itself like a normal planet
always showing the same side .. an elongated mega ship cant really rotate on itself
of course we would see it is elongated if it was rotating

Can you not see the contradiction you've created? Probably not as you still can't understand that the Moon rotates on its axis.

thats some great animation .. thank you for that

it help to see how the moon could move

logicaly the second car is what would happen normaly
moving like a rock around the moon
but the moon move like the first car .. always showing the front
advancing the theory that its rotating like a mothership would do
hiding its back from earth only showing the front all the time

hey im trying my best here to advance the though
that the moon could be a mother ship inside
i made some good point and you also made some good point
thank you for trying to debunk my theory
wouldnt be has fun if everyone was agreeing with me lol
we need both sides .. the "for" and "against"
the viewers will be the judges of their own thoughs

But the first one is rotating on itself. Your choice of what should happen is not.

Now is it:

an elongated mega ship cant really rotate on itself

as you stated in the op.

or is it:

rotating like a mothership would do

Like you stated just now.

I'm confused. Wieewww
Not on the Indy only though.

I totally get what you are saying ,but that makes the moons actions even more suspicious to me. I mean what are the chances that it is rotation perfectly timed so that one side is showing all the time. For the guys struggling to understand when have you looked at the moon and not seen "the face" made up from the three big dark patches on the surface if the moon rotated so the other side was visible then your view of the surface features would change.

As was mentioned previously, while there may be peculiar aspects to the Earth's moon, there is nothing at all strange about it rotating in synchrony with the Earth (showing the same face). This is the rule of most other moons of the solar system, not the exception (see "tidal locking"). Unless you are claiming these other moon's are artificial motherships as well?

Just because you are ignorant does not mean the process is not well known. Google tidally locked. But then again you have to be wilfully ignorant to make the post you made so I dont expect much.

The chances are 100%. The laws of physics dictate it. Eventually the Earth will become tidally locked with the moon as well.

maybe the moon is the secret of making a habitable planet. Maybe ancient aliens were on a verge to creating life on planets. So maybe found earth and they designed a Moon to rotate around the earth to make it habitable, protection and equilibrium to a planet.
Earth could probably have been closer to the sun so the moon could have been like a sort of magnet wihich pulled the earth into a more habitable zone.

Why does everyone speak rather than research? It is a proven fact the Moon is made up of material from earth. The Moon came from Earth, that is not speculation, it's a proven scientific fact.

ok, lets just put this to bed once and for all

The coin is the moon, the hole is the earth

The reason the moon doesn't fall into the earth is because there is no friction to slow it down, so it sort of keeps looping around and around on the same line verses keep slowing and falling...but otherwise, this is whats going on.

and no, the coin is not a space ship..its just revolving around the center gravity and doing a fall as it slows...no intelligence, no unnatural moves, etc.

Now, if you want to truely progress this moonship hypothesis, its best to drop the arguments that are easily understood and explained...unless your entire premise depends on the moon having unnatural movement, in which case...well...it is honorable to admit when your wrong...

Great thread Ben. A point you make is dont wonder why it never rotate on itself like a normal planet.

If the moon was a real planetoid body it be solid and therefore have enough mass to create the gravitation force needed to rotate it. It doesnt rotate and therefore this could be a give away the moon is a hollow sphere. A hollow sphere with fraction of the mass compared to if it was solid. Therefore a hollow moon will not have enough mass to create the gravitation force for rotation. A stong indicator the moons interior is artificial.
