I don't know if this is the church that the President is visiting today or not. Will look further. But for now:

NBC Connecticut is reporting that St. Rose of Lima, a Catholic Church in Newtown, Conn., has been evacuated and state police are responding.
The News-Times of Danbury, Conn., reports that an "unspecified threat" led to the evacuation. Residents were attending a noon mass at the church. It comes just two days after an attack on Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown left 27 dead, including 20 children.

No, he is attending a vigil at the high school in Newtown.

Obama will visit privately with families of the victims and with emergency personnel who responded to the shootings. He then will then speak at an interfaith vigil at Newtown High School.

Watching the live stream...

Not sure what is going on, but no one seems to be in a hurry. I hope this story doesn't evolve into something--I don't think anyone can handle another tragedy.
