A very good friend of mine wanted me to say hello

As i shared with y'all about nine months ago my wife and i were expecting our first in late December. Well, my son William decided he needed to show up a little bit early. He is the cutest thing i have ever seen (said every father since the beginning of time) and both my wife and i have been absolutely floating the last couple of days.

He's an adorable little guy.

They always start so small.

It's a vicious cycle. At first the reality doesn't set in until you get the baby home. Then they start waking up every 20 minutes every night and reality hits. Then after two weeks of sleep deprivation reality starts to fade again. Then you start catching up on sleep two hours at a time by saying you have to work late and you slowly start feeling sane again. Then the wife finds out about your secret nap time and gives you baby duty for a week straight and you slowly start going crazy again...

What? That only happened to me?

BTW, welcome to birthday/xmas hell. MAKE SURE if/when you have another it falls in summer or something. I DID NOT plan this ... my body and God played a huge joke on us and we are financially weeping for a large part of the yr. My kids are born on : Dec 6th, Jan 11th, and Jan 19th. Even our family asks.. why did you do this?? I DIDNT... its a cosmic joke on me! I implore you... DO NOT have ANY MORE close to xmas...
