What do you know of the well placed shots that were mentioned ?

the titanic was meant to be unsinkable yet that went wrong, our western lives will fall all empires die off and meet their maker just a matter of when...........

you dropping a bomb here and there would never work in a Nuclear conflict, certain things that have to be taken into account are things like Temperature, Humidity, weather, precipitation, climate and terrain, type of Detonation for effect factoring in all of these will result well placed shots if thought about correctly you cannot have 3 bombs going of within proxy to each other due to One will work the rest will not due to EMP so distance and altitude have to be considered.......

Never underestimate your opponents.....

how long was the war the war in Afghan meant to last ? .

the Tugs are used for supply as Russia only have Tatus as an international port. they are used for fire fighting and can be place together to become a platform

No problem. These are just the support vessels. The Tanker Ivan Bubnov is probably waiting to provide support to the two landing ships that are scheduled to deploy from the Black Sea Fleet. The Frigate Smetlivy has been deployed in the Mediterranean since a joint exercise with Italy. The Tug, MB-304, that was deployed with the Frigate Smetlivy is waiting to enter the Black Sea on her way home. The Baltic Fleet assets have now left the Baltic and will probably head for the English Channel.

Another indication that this is no combat deployment is their continued use of international Morse Code weather reports. All these weather reports would cease if deployed for a wartime scenario. Simply peacetime ops, anti-piracy deployments and the contingency for aid to citizens in Syria.

From the recent Morse Code, 20th December.

Tanker Ivan Bubnov is currently hove to.

It looks like Fox is running this as a headline story now. They also claim 2 Russian amphibious assault ships enroute.

From that report:

Reports that the Iskander missiles – also known as SS26-Stone missiles –might have been dispatched from Russia to Syria first surfaced on Dec. 9. Sources believe the weapons passed through the port of Tartus on Syria’s Mediterranean coast and have deployed at dual points: 12 facing Turkey on Syria’s northeast border, and 12 facing Jordan and Israel on Syria’s southern border. Just as worrisome for those who fear an escalation could spill over beyond Syria's borders is the fact that a number of other vessels are reportedly on their way to Tartus.
“They (the Russian vessels) are heading to the Syrian coast to assist in a possible evacuation of Russian citizens. Preparations for the deployment were carried out in a hurry and were heavily classified,” Russia’s Interfax news agency reported.

It isn't. Some of you conspiracy guys need to calm down. Russia is not going to war to assist Syria or support Assad. If Syria collapses then Russia requires to provide support and assistance to its citizens. That evacuation plan requires military support.

Moscow prepares plan to evacuate Russians from Syria Rescuers are planning to take around 30,000 Russian citizens out of the country by air and by sea. The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense have prepared a plan for a large-scale operation to evacuate Russian citizens from Syria. According to the document, rescuers are ready to take around 30,000 Russians out of the dangerous region. In case of an urgent evacuation, planes from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Defense and Aeroflot, as well as passenger ferries and four large navy landing vessels from the Baltic and Black Sea fleets, will take part in the operation.

By the end of December, they will meet in the rendezvous point with the view to perform joint tasks near Syrian coast. Warships and auxiliary vessels will call at Russian Navy's maintenance base in Syrian port Tartus many times. Evacuation of Russian citizens from Syria is also possible in case of due order is given", the spokesman told Interfax.
