Yet Another Way of Life Threatened by Those Who Want To Force Other People How to Live.

I know there are a lot of people who are afraid that another tragedy like the one that happened at the Connecticut elementary school could happen again, and yes, it is possible for another such tragedy to occur, but guns are not the reason why that happened, and banning guns/firearms is not going to stop similar, or even worse tragedies from happening.

There are many people who just want to continue using such tragedies as another excuse to end a way of life, and it is a way of life whether you agree with it or not.

I find it ironic that many of the same leftwingers who want to FORCE a total ban on firearms on every civilian, have been some of the same leftwingers whom have spoken/written ardently about the atrocities committed for example, by the U.S. Government on the Native American people during the birth of the Republic of these United States, and what other governments, such as the Brittish did to other native people around the world.

Yet these same leftwingers are calling for the end of yet another way of life because, like the U.S. government during the early decades of this nation, they think they have the right to tell everyone, and FORCE them how to live their lives.

I will not say all, but a mayority of leftwingers these days all around the world think themselves as the all mighty voice of reason and common sense. They think that they know how everyone should live their lives, and even want to FORCE everyone not only to accept their views, but to embrace them.

Those leftwingers will make claims such as "civilized people do not use guns", and will deride anyone who wants to exercise their right to own and bear arms.

Many of the early settlers of this nation, and the government also thought that they were the "voice of reason and civilization". They derided, ridiculed, and FORCED Native Americans to give up their way of life which was accomplished by the disarmament of the Native Americans.

These same early settlers, as well as the U.S. Government FORCED Native Americans to join white schools which were nothing more than indoctrination, and brainwashing camps in their attempt to, as these same people used to say, "rid the Republic of these United States of the savage way of life the Native Americans lived".

The history of the world is full of similar examples, from the Australian aborigines, to the Hindu people the so called "civilized world" thought that "they knew how those people should live." In fact it was thought that those native people all around the world were nothing but "savages", just like leftwingers today think that those people who want to exercise and keep their right to own, and bear arms "are just savages who should be FORCED to be as civilized as leftwingers are"...

In many cases the submission of many native people around the world was accomplished by their disarmament. The United States Government disarmed the Native Americans of their firearms, and eventually were FORCED to move to the swamps of South Florida and were FORCED to give up their way of life.

The Hindu people were also banned from owning firearms, and even the most pacifist person in the world Mathama Gandhi wrote in his autobiography that

Among the many misdeeds of the British rule in India, history will look back upon the Act depriving the whole nation of arms as the blackest.

Yet despite what history has to show us this day and age we have a mayority of leftwingers who once again want to deprive EVERYONE their right to own and bear arms because in their minds "they think they know what's best for everyone, and anyone who needs a gun is a savage"...

There is an old saying, "those who do not know their history, are bound to repeat it." We are at a time when history is being repeated. Today, we have yet another group of people who want to deprive everyone else their right to own and bear arms. There are already nations, like the UK, in which guns are banned, yet despite the fact that crimes with firearms have INCREASED in that nation and others since the ban on guns, leftwingers don't want to let go of their hatred on guns and anyone who wants to exercise his, or her right to own and bear arms.

We have today yet another people who think they have the right to tell and FORCE everyone else how to live their lives.

Atrocities like what just happened at the Connecticut elementary school will not stop from occurring. Criminals, and crazy people have many other ways to commit their crimes, and depriving everyone of their right to own and bear arms, or heavily restricting them will not slow, or stop such attrocities from happening.

To see what happens when guns are banned all you have to do is look at what has been happening in the UK since their ban on guns.

Gun crime soars by 35%

The Government's latest crime figures were condemned as "truly terrible" by the Tories today as it emerged that gun crime in England and Wales soared by 35% last year.

Criminals used handguns in 46% more offences, Home Office statistics revealed.

Firearms were used in 9,974 recorded crimes in the 12 months to last April, up from 7,362.

It was the fourth consecutive year to see a rise and there were more than 2,200 more gun crimes last year than the previous peak in 1993.

Figures showed the number of crimes involving handguns had more than doubled since the post-Dunblane massacre ban on the weapons, from 2,636 in 1997-1998 to 5,871.

Unadjusted figures showed overall recorded crime in the 12 months to last September rose 9.3%, but the Home Office stressed that new procedures had skewed the figures.

With new recording procedures taken into account the actual overall rise was just 2%, the Home Office said.

Culture of violence: Gun crime goes up by 89% in a decade

Gun crime has almost doubled since Labour came to power as a culture of extreme gang violence has taken hold.

The latest Government figures show that the total number of firearm offences in England and Wales has increased from 5,209 in 1998/99 to 9,865 last year - a rise of 89 per cent.

In some parts of the country, the number of offences has increased more than five-fold.

In eighteen police areas, gun crime at least doubled.

The statistic will fuel fears that the police are struggling to contain gang-related violence, in which the carrying of a firearm has become increasingly common place.

Last week, police in London revealed they had begun carrying out armed patrols on some streets.

In the United States there are states and cities where guns are banned, or heavily restricted, yet those states and cities happen to have the most crimes with guns and firearms in general in the United States.

Leftwingers all around the world love to claim that "the United States have the most gun crimes in the world", yet they fail to realize that it is actually in states and cities where guns, and firearms in general are banned or heavily restricted where the mayority of crimes with guns occur.

Based on the above graph, please guess when guns were banned. It should be easy if your hypothesis is remotely valid.

Do they not understand it is a tabloid newspaper, whose aim like most other tabloid trash is to manipulate the facts to create as much sensationalism as possible?

No what they want is people stop going on shooting sprees and the easy target is guns. The problem is they are right we are violent culture and guns make very easy for us to slaughter each other. These are not left wingers anymore they are mothers. I would suggest that resposible gun owners begin to try and figure out what we can do to change the culture of murder we live in or some day when enough people have been killed somebody really is going to get serious about gun control.

Obviously you don't know much about Iran... Iran is a theocratic Republic, which means certain religious figures whom are seen almost as deities are in power... The Iranian government is really nowhere even similar to rightwingers...sorry...

... Before starting this thread my first responses was to express my sympathy and condolescence to the families of all those children, and teachers that were killed in other threads...

But I must be the big bad wolf according to you for posting not only my opinion, but facts regarding crimes with firearms/guns, and an intelligent response to these latest attempts by many to use this tragedy, and the death of these children, and teachers as an excuse to stomp the right of Americans, and anyone else who might want to express their right to own and bear arms...

Offences involving firearms have increased in all but four police areas in England and Wales since 1998, figures obtained by the Tories reveal.

One part of the country has seen the problem increase almost seven fold as the availability of guns, and criminals' williness to use them rises.

Lancashire Police saw a 598 per cent increase from just 50 to 349 over the period while Staffordshire, Warwickshire and Essex all saw five fold increases.

In total, 21 forces saw offences at least double over the decade while just four, Cleveland, Humberside, Cambridgeshire and Sussex, saw the number fall.

While provisional figures for 2008/09 suggest overall firearm offences may be down on the previous year, they point to a doubling of the number of people injured or killed.

Some 1,760 gun related injuries or deaths were provisionally recorded for 2008/09, compared with 864 in 1998/99.
